Footage shows the moment a 13-year-old boy was fatally shot by police after he hijacked a car and hit into the officers' squad vehicle in San Antonio, Texas.
Andre 'AJ' Hernandez was driving a stolen Toyota Corolla and threw the car in reverse, hitting the cops after they approached on June 3, 2022. Newly released clips from the fateful night now show the teen being shot.
He was shot by officer Stephen Ramos, who was responding with a partner to reports of gunfire involving the red vehicle. He fired once, wounding Hernandez in the abdomen. This shot turned out to be fatal.

Using a car as a weapon to run people down justifies use of deadly force.
The cop should have waited until the "boy" killed him before shooting.
But his Cleaning Wife doesn’t understand
A car is a deadly weapon. When you use it to ram the cops, expect them to use deadly force in return.
One thing is for sure: Jack-ass parents and neglectful upbringing are not to be blamed.
In New Jersey you’re correct about hollow points being unauthorized for law enforcement. Probably a few other equally stupid jurisdictions too.
I had a great conversation with a Tennessee cop telling me how she preferred Hydra shocks and how well they recently worked when a fellow officer had to open a few extra holes on a perpetrator who was shooting at him.
It's quite possible that a lot of them are now written by AI, which would be pretty much the same thing.
Synopsis:
young kid steals car, tries to kill cops, but gets shot dead before he has a chance to... family of the child scream racism and lie about the cop being “trigger happy”
It will now be mandated that cops can’t shoot at cars that are trying to run them down.
They’re to yell “stop!” instead.
It will also be OK for 13 years old to steal cars without any charges being filed.
Clean shooting. No Bill is the right call by the Grand Jury. The family will now get a really good settlement for their 'good boy'.
Commit adult crimes, reap adult penalties.
That cop should be rewarded with a huge bonus for the money he has saved the system from future court rooms, jail, feeding and housing, etc this POS would have cost taxpayers.
My only issue is whether the facts are as reported. If they are, why give the late criminal or his family a forum to whine about “trigger happy” police? Little AJ had threatened to murder someone if they didn’t hand over their vehicle, used the stolen vehicle to attempt to murder the police. He needed killing immediately. The family that bred this monster should be begging the world’s forgiveness and paying all costs for the damage he did.
You hit a police car they ain’t gonna be nice to you
Ramming a police car is certainly within the guidelines of assault with a deadly weapon
The youth was an aspiring mariachi musician.
Its all part of the long-standing attempt to turn so-called Hispanics into a controlled, aggrieved, emotive, leftist political block, just like blacks, that can be turned-on for Democrats with the drop of a political slogan or manufactured crisis.
Because criminals have become a protected class in our society.
What?! White supremacy and systemic racism MADE him steal that car and attempt to injure the officer. C’mon, man!
