DeSantis can’t run for president without his rich donor class. He is not a Billionaire. That rich donor class makes more profits by exporting jobs to China. Trump is the only exception in the political crowd.
DeSantis has been tough on the extreme lefty issues. That class has no clout because that crowd does not keep DeSantis in political business. If he becomes president, his rich donors class will demand favors which are OPPOSITE of make America great again. American middle class jobs will be exported to China.

1/3 of Trump's 2020 campaign came from big donors.
The other 2/3 came from small donors.
Trump did not put his own money into the campaign.
In 2022, Trump's PAC raised over $100 million but spent less than $20 million. Trump kept the rest and used about $5 million for his legal expenses.
McConnell's Senate PAC raised just under $100 million in 2022 and spent it all on Senate races, including for some Trump-endorsed candidates.

With regard to listening to people, didn't Trump have Kim Kardashian and other celebrities at the White House multiple times, implementing their agenda on issues?
Donald Trump never donated to his own reelection campaign, but he did find plenty of other billionaires willing to write him checks. In total, Forbes identified 133 superrich donors who pitched in for Trump’s 2020 campaign.
Actually, Trump does a lot of fundraising. He'd rather spend your money than his on his campaign.
I think Perot spent more of his money on his campaign than did Trump, even without adjusting for inflation.
