No to Nikki Harris

Wait, did I say Nikki Harris? I meant Nikki Haley, but it's an understandable mistake. After all, as a good friend deep in politics recently pointed out to me, Nikki Haley is the Kamala Harris of the Republican Party. And now Nikki says she wants to be president, announcing her doomed candidacy with hilariously hackneyed and overwrought fanfare ("Now is the time for a strong and proud America!"), though everyone with half a cerebral cortex can see that she's really just trying to position herself as the vice-presidential nominee when either Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis gets the nomination. It's exactly the kind of cynical, shameless move this cynical, shameless striver would make – and that her Democrat doppelganger did make.

Like Kamala, Nikki is everything wrong with her party. Kamala is Hillary Lite, slightly less bitter, a lot dumber, but just as insincere. Nikki is Jeb! in a skirt, temperamentally establishment and soft, but much more ambitious and cunning than the human puffball who begged us to "Please clap" as he awaited what he expected would be a coronation.

I don’t think she is a natural-born citizen.

As far as I know both her parents lacked US citizenship at her birth.

I believe the British 1730 natural-born citizen law essentially required a father only to have had British citizenship.

I do think she is a sound person and I would be happy if she replaced Grahamnesty.

Wow. Comparisons to Hillary, Kamala and Jeb Bush must be cruel and unusual punishment if not slander.

Or, gulp, true.

Kurt is always properly sarcastic and funny. I also mix up Nikki H and Kamala.

Trump did make some pretty bad appointments. He may well be a sincere America First supporter, but I would like to see a candidate call out the U.N. for the POS organization it is and of which the U.S. has no business being a member.

The Bidens are bad people. The Pelosis. Chuck Schumer is a bad person. Hillary Clinton is transcendentally evil. Nikki Haley is basically a decent person, but with more than a bit of Barbara Walters in her. Unfortunately, she is in a position to do a lot of harm.

Magnificent takedown of this hyper ambitious, self-adoring, empty shell of woman. What she did to the heritage of South Carolina, the South in general, and Americana is unforgivable.

no ... she is a bad person ... she started the fad of tearing down historic monuments ... there is a reason that a significant portion of the country has such a deep hatred for her ...

i cant wait for a female president

so we can all see that a woman can screw things up

just as well as the men

It was a woman who got us into this fallen world that we suffer through, because she was deceived. The man was not deceived, but let the woman (maybe because of being blinded by her “assets”) convince him to go along. Both failed for different reasons, but it appears the serpent knew that it would be easier to deceive the woman because of her more trusting, emotion-based nature. That’s just my analysis.

Trump liked her fine enough for a high level cabinet job—one step below Secretary of State.

If Trump likes her, and she isn’t 100 years old...she is worth a look.

She was born in the US, doesn’t matter her parents’ citizenship.

Agreed, but truth is Trump didn’t leave the seat open, he put her there. That’s all I’m saying, so she can’t be accused of being less America First based solely on taking the job.

Why, think I caught the drift of it from the excerpt provided. I won’t be reading every single article between now and the election, it’s how I roll.

I agree completely.

If she ends up on the ticket as VP, she'll be a poison pill. I hope the Democrats don't convince the Republicans that there is a clause in the Constitution requiring every ticket to have a South Asian anchor baby on it.
