China will invade the country and SloJow will welcome our new overlords

NOTAM area of Havre, MT. To assist national air defense (para)... 50 by 50 nautical miles.
“ Get a thousand sick Chinamen to fly all over the country.”
If they have access to variola (smallpox) they don’t need 1000. Five to ten would do the trick.
And can you imagine trying to do ring vaccination under current circumstances?
Yeh, if your vehicle is in the garage chances are it will start.
Impossible. Logistically, time wise, and realistically.
I think a scare event is coming but it will be a standoff and the nukes never really fly. Its the excuse for the military to step in and take control and most people will be OK with it. It will take out this bunch of illegitimate criminals who are sitting in the Whitehouse. That doesn’t mean it won’t be scary or the lights won’t go out for a few weeks and the internet down. Or some similar scenario.
I’ll read the link, thank you.
Do you know any good novels in the realm of biohazard/military/spy field?
That’s a lost memory come back!…
Sorry I don’t.
I get all the disease I need to read/know about at work. There’s always enough “off” in fiction to make me put it down or turn it off.
The “send for the plane” scene in Outbreak was pretty good, though.
Harrumph!
Possibly one of the problems for the communist Chinese, is trying figure - despite their assumption that we are idiots - that the U.S.A. is in fact, now so decrepit and unpreprared (particularly in depth).
So, I figure, the communist Chinese are taking the time to verify what seemed unlikely 30 years ago.
One question the communist Chinese may have: Do the American really have only 1 factory for manufacturing the Abrams tank, and is that factory’s capability really only 12 tanks per month?
Re Taiwan
I figure that the communist Chinese view Taiwan similar to the Russian’s particular notion that “it’s ours.”
And, I figure that the communist Chinese have 10’s of thousands of fellow travelers on the island, prepared to do Taiwan harm and otherwise surrender things . . . as the traitors aboard the Crimea did: handing over the keys to the Russians.
BTW, I also figure that expectation of treason in favor of Russian plans, is probably what was in store for Kiev etc., but the Russian invasion failed where the Russians greatly underestimated the free will of ordinary Ukrainians to hold on to their country.
BTW2, that is also a problem for the communist Chinese: Where they underestimate how motivated Taiwanese are, among whom there are plenty who do not want to become Hong Kong II.
I suspect that the communist Chinese do not have many concerns about the woke U.S. Navy of modernity. Our Navy has succeeded in severly damaging itself:
- 2 destroyers
- 2 submarines
- 1 aircraft carrier burned up *DOCKSIDE* in home port
- 1 aircraft landed in Chinese held territory and the aircrew received medals from George W. Bush
- 1 fast boat stumbling into the amused Iranian Rev. Guards
In addition to the ridiculously-expensive Zumwalt *ALUMINUM* missile launchers that are the product of think tank white papers that keep printer manufacturers in business.
And: woke is inversely related to warrior.
About knowledge of military affairs, I vaguely recall:
Henry Knox had a natural mechanical engineering instinct. In a bookstore where he worked, he read books about artillery. He was a natural fit within the American Revolutionary militia gathered around Boston.
That was an entertaining flick.
The main takeaway from Dark Winter was the politicians always made the right decision, but one viral generation too late.
They were told to close the airports in OKC, but they wouldn’t do it until there was proof airliners were spreading smallpox. Of course with an 11 day incubation period, by the time cases showed up in five other cities proving spread by airlines and they closed OKC it was too late. And so on.
The participants were real politicians and they had to make their decisions in real time.
My Governor at the time of writing a plan would not sign a plan to set up vaxx stations at a mall because “it was important for people to keep shopping”.
As if.
I think Taiwan is a racial thing, the young Han will be happy to join the rising Han superpower, especially after the Gweilo paper tiger is exposed for whatnot is.
There’s no way we are ready for war.
Considering history, I would expect to see a rash of siteings over the next weeks
Or months.
When and where did NORAD detect the original spy balloon that was shot down near South Carolina. That was never announced!
I think we've confirmed that they're unconfirmed.
Not sure. They know it passed over the Aleutian Islands in hindsight.
