President Joe Biden made his annual mockery of himself and of Democrats’ ridiculous policies during Tuesday’s State of the Union speech, and at one point got roundly humiliated by Republicans when they all laughed at one of his remarks.
Biden, speaking about his administration’s commitment to move away from fossil fuels, stated at one point that “we are going to need oil at least for another decade” before being interrupted by a cacophony of uproarious laughter.
Take a look below as Biden once again proves how clueless these folks are:
As independent commentator Clay Travis pointed out on Twitter, every single person watching this clip will “need oil for the rest of their life.”
“Joe Biden says we’re only going to need oil for at least the next ten years. Ten years?! He’s gone off the rails here. Everyone reading this is going to need oil for the rest of their life,” he said.
The Daily Mail reported that the remark was made as Biden went off-script. The U.K. outlet said that
President Joe Biden drew laughter from Republicans during his State of the Union address when he said the nation would need to continue to rely on oil and gas for ‘at least’ another decade.
That comment, including lines that were not included in his prepared remarks, came despite his administration’s intensive push on climate change and programs worth billions intended to wean the nation off oil in favor of green technologies.
Biden made the admission while describing his comments to oil executives.
‘When I talk to a couple of them, they say we’re afraid you’re going to shut down all the oils and all the oil refineries anyway. So why should we invest in them? ‘I say we’re going to need oil for a decade,’ Biden said, only to be paused and silenced by the deafening reaction to his outlandish claim.
Newly-elected House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, sitting directly behind the president, “could be seen smiling and scratching his face,” the Daily Mail added. Even Kamala Harris has a look on her face that practically reveals her wishing to be anywhere but associated with and sitting right behind Joe.
Biden, both arrogantly self-assured and senile enough to lack any self-awareness though, ignored the deserved derision and continued with the same line of thinking.
And beyond that,’ he continued above the laughter. ‘We’re going to need it!’

This pause due to Republican laughter was not the only interruption of the evening highlighting his gaslighting and lies. Georgia congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green took command of Congress during one of Biden’s more egregious spins.
“Instead of making the wealthy pay their fair share, some Republicans want Medicare and Social Security to sunset every,” Biden began before being interrupted by a chorus of boos and individuals shouting. MTG stood up and shouted “Liar!” Biden offered a weak comeback by responding to the criticisms with vague gestures of talking to the White House or stammering through other pointless rebuttals.
It is hard to overstate how weak the president looks when confronted with obstruction to his lies. He might be lying, but as a matter of projecting power and authority he had choices. But, rather than ignore it, continue with his speech, or offer real ripostes, Biden simply wandered down the path of incoherent and pointless responses.
Donald Trump wasn’t liked by half of Congress when he gave speeches, but it is unthinkable to imagine him wading into squabbles during his State of the Union.
Further proof Brandon is too old and senile to be POTUS.
I refused to watch the SOTU speech, I knew I couldn’t sit through it - I’d rather watch the “highlights” (or lowlights) reel in this case.
Glad to see Biden open mocked, yelled at and ridiculed. This is exactly what Dems did to Trump during his speeches, while the media egged them on.
Remember what a “hero” Nancy Pelosi was made out to be when she tore up Trump’s speech?
Bring it on and keep it coming.
I’m still of a mind that I believe the democrats are going to be getting rid of Biden before the 2024 election.
I suspect they will get rid of Kameltoe first, and install hilLIARy.
That is the only way she ever get into office, and becomes the first female president, because she is so universally hated. And she knows it.
And those 900 FBI files she asked for (AND RECEIVED!!!) are still paying dividends. A lot of those people are still in Washington.
Parts of his speech sounded like an indorsement for MAGA.
With patriotic rhetoric..and even a mention of the U.S.C...thrown in for kicks.
No doubt the keftards were cringing..but then they realized their leader is a pathological liars .so,all is well.
He mumbled and stumbled over his words quite a bit in his speech.
His best chance to win reelection in 2024 would be if he hides in his basement as he did in 2020.
BeijingBiden is arrogant, not proud. If you lack pride you cannot be humiliated.
That said, I applaud his condemnation in any venue and any circumstance.
The bozos who sold us on the idea of not shaming someone, for anything, ruined speech/communication. Of course folk should be shamed for doing stupid. But, BBiden is not (just) stupid, he is evil.

Eff’n Biden has always been a slow bumbling fool. Ridicule and laughter are excellent tools to convince Biden’s supporters that they shouldn’t have anything to do with him. The same tactics need to be used against all Democrats and their ideas. Constantly.

Biden wasn’t “humiliated”.
He knows he can say, or not say, anything and the MSM will cover for him.

He didn’t think he was humiliated by his Hate of the Union speech, and his base doesn’t think he was humiliated, and everyone else already knows he is a dementia addled brain village idiot, so articles like these are basically hopium for the right.
Read the comments on twitter. His base LOVED every minute of this POS speech. They were thrilled (probably because they were secretly hoping he would just make it through).

He is clueless that no energy company is going to invest billions in assets for a ten year horizon.
