The DeSantis strategy: Ignore an increasingly agitated Trump
The hill ^ | 02/05/2023 | JOE CONCHA

Donald Trump’s presidential campaign is nearly three months old, but already it’s clear whom he sees as his biggest threat with the Iowa caucuses still a year away: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

The perspective comes as Trump continues to act more like an underdog in the race for the Republican nomination. In recent days, the former president has gone after DeSantis, with Trump somehow claiming that Florida “was closed for a long period of time” after the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March 2020.

“They’re trying to rewrite history,” he added of DeSantis in an interview earlier this week.

It’s an odd front for Trump to open given that he praised DeSantis’s re-opening approach three years ago. Not surprisingly, the 45th president also failed to mention that he advocated lockdowns in the spring of 2020.

Maybe people will write him in regardless just on principle. Or maybe Trump does a third party deal like Ross Perot. Whatever the case I’m not voting for another neocon conjob under any circumstances, I will vote Libertarian before that happens.

You’re ignoring all the things he accomplished

The things he was permitted to accomplish either served the goals of the Deep State or were of no importance to it.

Coy game? DeSantis hasn’t attacked Trump at all.

Have you ever heard the saying...'Sht or get off the pot'? That's DeSantis. That's the 'coy' game he is playing.

Why does DeSantis have to commit one way or the other right now? It’s a long way to 2024, a lot can happen. Besides, DeSantis has a job to do. Best thing for him right now is to focus on that job, and see how things play out.

LOL.

“He was dead, he was leaving the race, he came over and he begged me, begged me, for an endorsement,” Trump told Hugh Hewitt on his radio show on Friday. “He was getting ready to drop out. There were tears coming down from his eyes.”

If for no other reason it would shop the man can make a decision. He who hesitates is lost.

"What we really have is a stolen election of 2020 that forces Trump delchiante, who should be serving as President today, to have tocampaign like in 2015/2016 when he attacked every name on the polls for President..

And maybe Trump delchiante having to campaign like it’s 2015 again brings up that he was spied on by this nation from day 1. That would agitate me..

I prefer he delchiante not be running for 2024 because he’d be serving his final term today.

Sucks to be an aspiring 2024 Candidate. Trump delchiante is in 2015/2016 mode.."

Does that give you any idea how stupid you sound? You literally are attempting to suggest he should not avenge the fraud? And so you are so comfortable with the fraud itself that you'd just like Trump to accept the fraud too, like you, and be done with it.

I read the words Trump spoke, that is called thinking for oneself. If Trump retracts, so will I.

"The things he was permitted to accomplish either served the goals of the Deep State or were of no importance to it."

President Trump delayed the military junta by 4 years, because that is exactly who was going to run the show under Cankles.

And now that the military took over in 2020 and installed the first American Puppet State, Trump has the opportunity to force old, old, OLD people like you to the clarion call -- you're either going to once and forever overthrow the Deep State, or your children and grandchildren are going to live on bended knee until China takes over, and then they will be prone supplicants, mandarins with Engrish names. "Noble" indeed, LOFL.

But you just shove that right back up you know where and go back to sleep.

????
I think you read the exact opposite into what I wrote.

Donald Trump was robbed of an election and has to campaign again because of it..
He would be serving his second 4 years right now..

The country has Biden because of the stolen election. The country also has Trump campaigning for the Presidency again, because of it.

Everybody that wanted somebody else in 2024 as an R has a problem ...

Trump is due another 4 year term.

Trump getting back into office isn’t avenging the election steal.

Something like hanging the traitors that enabled the election steal and installation of Biden, would be avenging it..

“I read the words Trump spoke...”

You READ the words??? You can discern when Trump is agitated by reading his words???

I saw some of what the MSM did with Trump’s words; I would see the speech and he would be joking and the words portrayed by the MSM would not mention that at all. I suppose people like you fall for that kind of thing.

From this website's "About Us" info page:

A web search for any additional information on this topic finds only backwater websites that simply copy this original article. Which sounds real. But is it? If it is, why isn't this to be found on any of the usual news sources?

DeSantis can’t declare until after Florida’s GOP-controlled legislature repeals or modifies Florida’s “Resign to Run” law. They have already indicated they will tackle this when the legislative season convenes in March.

As the law currently stands, DeSantis would have to resign his position as governor before he files as a candidate with the FEC, something he’s not going to do.

That should be the Law of the Land for every elected position in this country, for precisely this reason.
