It’s a fine combo! And people are just working overtime to find something to be upset over, since there is so little to truly be upset about. The narrative that whites are intentionally keeping the black man down is tiresome, and many of us are no longer willing to play along. The main thing keeping the black man down is the black man.
And I heartily celebrate Juneteenth. Just not in the way those fomenting racial strife intended with their elevation of an obscure local holiday.

I’m not 100% white. Not black. Just a mutt. But I burn through watermelon at warp speed.
I cannot get enough. It has more nutrients and vitamins than any other fruit. It is not native to Africa. Neither are chickens, cornbread, waffles, collard greens, etc.
Okra is African. I love it too. Especially right off the grill.

Italian food on Columbus Day.
Corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick's Day.
What about insulting chickens on Easter by coloring their eggs and having an egg hunt?

If you live in the South (zone 8a specifically) just plant 4 okra plants, other wise you will spend half a day picking them.

My wife is Chinese. She eats her weight in watermelon any chance she gets. She will come home with a minimum of four of them.
If you have a grill, I suggest grilling okra slathered with Italian dressing.
The older I get the less fried food I can eat.
Allow me to dissent. But not in the way you may expect.
"Progressives" virtue-signal anti-racism, but they consider blacks and anyone who isn't like them to be inferiors.
The far left progressives are actually lily white. Nearly seven-in-ten Progressive Left (68%) are White adults, making this group less racially and ethnically diverse than the other Democratic-oriented groups.
Yet, these Dems hold not only extremist views on race, but views more extreme than those held by more racially-diverse Dem groups.
They live in enclaves in cities, prefer going to museums over going to the range, and think religion is sophistry. Their policies and language all reek of a Superiority Complex.
I get Affinity bias. We all have it. I'd probably be rejected by an Anarcho-Syndicalist Commune and the feeling would be mutual.
But Erika Donalds' experience is worth remembering when dunderheads use this food menu saga to say WE are all haters. And while I haven't walked in her shoes, I can tell you, when behind closed doors, and if "progressives" think you're "one of them," their mask slips and (using affluent code language) you see how they REALLY feel about the races.
I wouldn't be surprised at all, if this chicken/waffle/watermelon menu was swapped in by one of these Progressive pukes, either because they thought it was cultural or as a false flag operation. In either case, their mindset of "black people NEED me" is revealed. Again.
Scratch a progressive, find a Klansman in a suit and tie or lab coat, or as a lunch lady.
