Chicken and waffles are good. How can someone be offended?
Give me White History month where I get served Waldorf Salad, Beef Wellington, and Grand Marnier Souffle on the first day of that month. I would not be offended at all, lol.
They should be grateful. There are starving people in Africa.
Waldorf Salad should be rejected by all races.
Just as with the word “gorilla” (or even “guerrilla”), when people consumed with race (i.e., Democrat/Communist racists) hear “fried chicken” — especially in conjunction with “watermelon” — they immediately think “black” … or, in the parlance of the Left “person of color” (i.e., “colored person”). Never fails.
Waffle House disagrees it’s big seller for them less the watermelon.
Watermelon served at school lunch in February? I taught school in an area maybe 20 miles from where watermelon is grown and it never appeared on the lunch menu.

Would it be cultural appropriation if a black butcher made a haggis? Why is it cultural appropriation for a white to run a Mexican restaurant but not a Thai restaurant to hire Mexican cooks?

How about the traditional African food of Humanitarian Rations and Plumpi-nut?
There aren't that many 'victims' in Nyack. It's 56.5% white, 14.3% white hispanic and 4.1 Asian for a total of 74.9%
