I can tell you, most of these Federal workers are workign for home and many are doing so permanently. What is it that they are risking again???
Most of these so called Federal “workers” are nothing but Federal parasites.
These are the same people who fired front line workers for not talking the vax.
A couple years back I got a call from the USDA, the local FSA office. This guy had the time to trespass my land, take out a measuring tape and measure the width of the CRP buffer strip. I had a good crop of soybeans growing on that land and he wanted me to destroy three rows of beans and plant grass because the strip was two and a half feet too narrow! I didn’t plant the grass because it wasn’t going to make me any decent money, a $100 bucks a year. I planted it because I wanted to be a good steward of the land; to provide erosion control and wildlife habitat. I had not even enrolled it back into CRP. It wasn’t worth it. I told him it ain’t going to happen. Told him to stay the hell off my land, haven’t heard back from him. There’s your government employee. I sure as hell ain’t getting any kind of raise this year with astronomically high input costs for fertilizer and herbicide. Oh well, a Kansas farmer/rancher trying to make a living. Regards, kawhill.
House Democrats proposed legislation this week that would give more than 2 million federal workers an 8.7% pay raise in 2024, a raise they say is needed because they suffered through both the COVID pandemic and the Trump administration.

Why didn’t they propose it and pass it when they had control of the House, Senate, and Presidency? A rhetorical question, since I already know the answer.
They need a raise to help them cope with hospitalization costs. Many got the Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) and caused havoc apparently. They need time to heal...
The problem for them though, is that Trump is President again in 2 years. So, they will ask for yet another raise...

Pay cuts generally do not happen; but there are years where there is no pay raise. It happened three times under Obama.
It’s time to force the commie RATS to start using their own money for all of their FREE MONEY programs. This is bullsh*t! Americans don’t even want to work anymore and it’s the RATS’s fault.
What makes Gubmint Feddies more deserving of free money than non-government, hardworking AMERICANS? Screw the RATS.

The Obama & Biden years were where everybody suffered.Things were much better under Trump & he can’t be held responsible for COVID. Somebody has this all backwards.
