Earlier on Friday, PJ Media’s Kevin Downey Jr. mused whether Nichols’ death would be “George Floyd 2.0,” and it appears that may be the case.
Naturally, the left is blaming “white supremacy,” even though the police officers who beat Nichols to death are also black.

Exactly. Those pre-printed signs with that same design element are always a giant red flag at any protest. The more of them and the less handmade signs just increases that level.
One change is that the Dem mayors of these urban toilets are no longer on the side of the radicals; the COVID response has made it clear how obsolete these cities really are, and these mayors are desperate to get their working normals back into the cities to spend money. The whole pseudo-economy of the wealth transfers from taxpayers to minority gubmint workers is unraveling as companies pull up stakes and leave, and that artificial middle class is in danger economically.
This was a factor during the BLM/antifa riots years ago here in NJ; while we have wild and ungovernable cities, the black mayors ensured there was no violence or mass theft/looting. Considering the state of our cities, it was actually impressive.
