I wonder why they said this would confuse people. Is that because someone lied about Pelosi opening the door? Otherwise, I think it sheds much light on the event.

CNN reported on November 2nd that David Depape woke Paul Pelosi by standing over his bedside while he was sleeping in a full button-up long-sleeved shirt. It appears that Pelosi grabbed a glass of something on the way to answer the door, with Depape holding his arm. The video of the incident makes the story even more strange.
Honestly… p pelosi is in his 80s. How likely is it that he is sexually active? I need to pose this question to Joe Dallas… the truth teller of someone who has walked many miles in the homosexual life restyle.

The video shows DePape breaking in, hammering the window or door, well he has on light colored tan shorts. When he is inside and the police come to the door, DePape has on dark greenish shirts. Obviously, he changed his pants sometime between the break in and the time the police arrived.

No, they didn’t in the video. Pelosi had one hand, his right on the hammer. His left was closed around a can that looks remarkably like a Miller Lite. He’s being attacked by a man with a hammer but he isn’t going to spill the beer. That’s a true compromise. He needs a shirt and a commercial.

Pelosi was holding a glass of clear liquid in his left hand, and had grabbed the head of the hammer with his right... and was very calm.
Depape...was the one talking too, and who pulled open the door. Pelosi didn’t say a word, except, “Hey, hey, hey!” when Depape moved with the hammer.
Definitely a very odd situation there. Something more to it than a crazy home-invasion.
Who opened the door? David DePape had his right hand on the hammer, his left was clearly visible while the door swung open, Paul Pelosi had is right hand on the hammer and his left hand was holding his drink. It points to a third person opening the door.
It's doubtful David DePape was an intruder or the aggressor because Paul Pelosi made no move to get away from him and insisted everything was okay to the cops. There was no sounds of a struggle before the door was opened.
David DePape may not have brought the hammer. The small windows around the door have blue painting tape on them. Contractors may have been repainting the door and window frames, including taking the door off the hinges to paint it. A hammer would be used to pop the hinge pins and would explain why there would be a hammer near the front door.
As for David DePape wrestling the hammer away and striking Paul Pelosi with it, there was distinct switch from when both were trying to avoid interaction with the police to David DePape attacking Paul Pelosi.
