Ukraine's allies have finally agreed to send it advanced tanks, after months of indecision, but now want Ukraine to start fighting differently.
Western officials are suggesting that it adopt a new style of warfare and new tactics that reflect the high-level weaponry it's been given, CNN reported.
This would involve moving away from battles of attrition towards launching rapid attacks against Russian forces.
Three US officials — deputy national security adviser Jon Finer, Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman, and Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Colin Kahl — met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy last week, where they reportedly suggested the change in tactic.
The group said Ukraine should move towards a style of mechanized maneuver warfare that "uses rapid, unanticipated movements against Russia," sources told CNN.

Those “morons” have already destroyed so many T90s and enhanced T72s that the Russians keep pulling out the T62s. The Ukrainians know how to fight and that is why they have destroyed Russia’s military reputation and much of its arms exporting business. The poor Russian troops have nothing but morale problems. The Ukrainians are intrepid and have a jaunty confidence. The Ukrainians KNOW that invaders bring tyranny to the occupied areas.
Post numbers. Concrete data, not uketard propaganda. I’ve only seen undeniable proof of one destroyed T90 and a handful of T72s. Russia goads them into these huge counterattacks and wipes out large numbers of uke troops. It’s what I would do. I realize they have javelins, but without air power, our Abrams and the kraut Leos, while exceptional tanks, are just big, thirsty, high maintenance targets for Russian arty.
Conventional HE arty munitions never take out many MBTs of any type unless they are left in static positions forever. As for the Abrams, the IRD builders had to think along big lines (500 to 1000 lbs of explosives) before they could destroy Abrams,
It is difficult to ID T90s after the Ukrainians have blown them to bits. T90s are garbage compared to Western tanks. You are so brainwashed by Bolshevik propaganda that you cannot see the obvious. Those Western tanks will help liberate more areas from your hammer and sickle flying criminal friends.

It was a tactic the Red Army used during Ww2 using “penal battalions” as cannon fodder. Used to kill off criminals and Jews. My late friend Major Avram Shifrin served in one such unit. Badly wounded in his leg and several years after the war ended, he had to have it amputated.
Survived most of the remaining Stalin years by changing his first name from Abraham to Avram. Picked up off the streets of Moscow and sent to Siberia for slave labor for ten years.
