Meta will be ending former President Trump's suspension across its platforms, which include Facebook and Instagram, "in the coming weeks," according to a blog post from the company.
In a blog post on Wednesday, Nick Clegg, president of global affairs at Meta, said that Trump's suspension on both Facebook and Instagram will be lifted.
"To assess whether the serious risk to public safety that existed in January 2021 has sufficiently receded, we have evaluated the current environment according to our Crisis Policy Protocol, which included looking at the conduct of the US 2022 midterm elections, and expert assessments on the current security environment. Our determination is that the risk has sufficiently receded, and that we should therefore adhere to the two-year timeline we set out. As such, we will be reinstating Mr. Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts in the coming weeks. However, we are doing so with new guardrails in place to deter repeat offenses,"

They should reinstate my account too. My account was closed after I commented on someone possibly being suicided by Hillary Clinton. For two weeks Facebook sent me information including 800 numbers for suicide prevention hotlines and resources for getting help if I was contemplating suicide. Hillary doesn’t know who I am so I’m sure that I’m safe.

fakebook and instagram have NO customer service. My account at instagram got hacked and there is NOONE to help you get your account back. They could care less. I used to love Trumps account. It was always entertaining.
They banned a sitting President becaue they knew that’s how he effectively reported to the American people. Becuae they had nothing they could ban him for on their platforms and they were trying to come up with something for a long time so they used his perfect speech at January 6 for a reason. Facebook believes in censorship. They believe in promoting lies. They believe in using 3rd parties to put the Scarlet Letter on your forehead, treat you like you’re a third grader. Mark Levin was censored and shadowbanned and everything he wrote was from a LEGITIMATE source. So it doesn’t matter how “careful” you are. They are agreeing to let Trump back on now because the Republicans are in control and they will be investigating along with both the FEC and FTC are going to be investigating Facebook and Zuckerberg in its extensive censorship in support of Biden and Democrat Party.

I was suspended several days ago for saying men are not women. I appealed and they are keeping me suspended till the review takes place, which apparently is months away.

Trump was not banned because of anything he posted. He was banned in the wake of a staged Jan 6 "insurrection" in which Trump rally-goers were waved into the Capitol building so that the Left could justify a clamp-down on the MAGA movement in general.
Much like how Hitler staged the "Reichstag Fire" in 1933 so he could discredit his political opponents and jail them, so that he could eliminate his enemies and gain absolute power over Nazi Germany.
Many thousands of conservatives were "de-platformed" along with President Trump.
We still have innocent citizens sitting in jail today all because they got caught up in the moment in walked into the Capitol. In fact, they were waved in by Capitol police like they were tourists. Nothing got seriously damaged. The only person killed that day was an American patriot, shot down by a Capitol policeman who never had to answer for his actions.
