I say there’s a group of faceless, unelected men who run this country - and have for some amount of time. They make many, if not most of the calls.
30 years ago I would have dismissed my statement as not possible - today, I believe it’s probably not that absurd. /shiny side out

The same-state rule....applies only when talking Electoral College. If the Presidents dies/leaves office...the House/Senate will receive the new-President’s choice, confer, and then vote (simple majority wins). Same-state rule does not apply in this case.
In the House case, there’s probably going to be something ‘promised’ by the new President (when this occurs) that makes the ‘deal’ possible to get Newsom there.

DR Evil is all those things and more. But I don’t think she has enough power to be pulling ALL the strings. Obama, Hillary, et al., could/would have her pushing up daisies in a skinny minute if she tried to override their long-term goals.

That’s how/why OAN was dumped by DirecTV. He said they had targeted Fox News, too. They must think FNC is conservative; that’s how stupid they are.
We pay $70/month for Fubo streaming which carries Newsmax.

Actually, you’d just stage a Covid vax reaction (heart attack) with Harris either passing or in serious health jeopardy....just like the several hundred each day that have heart ailments from the vax (all believable now).
If CNN or Fox throw the vax reaction story out there....more than 90-percent of people (even on FreeRepublic) would believe the ailment story, and never suggest some rogue group constructed the event.
