His choice. Just don’t try forcing that view onto anyone else.
Stopping meds AT 75 isn’t ready to die AT 75.
I suppose he’s just tip-toeing around the path he’s directing towards-euthanasia at 75.
Not for him of course, it’s more like the parent pretending to do something they want the child to do.
When he’s 75, he will be counting on no one remembering his 2023 comments.
No meds after we reach 75. He’s setting it up so we will beg for assisted suicide. Bet me that this is the plan.
“...his personal belief is that old age is a burden on society and loved ones.”
Having already exceeded his cut-off date, I’m not ready to give up the ghost. If there’s something wrong, I’ll go to the doctor and try and have it fixed. Everyone who lives long enough ages differently. Genetics, life style, and maybe luck all play a role. Some are incapacitated by old age in their sixties. Others are active well into their nineties.
My ancient mother renewed her California drivers license at 98. I confess I didn’t feel comfortable riding with her. But she was ok with it and we’re talking driving in San Diego on the freeways. Whether she was just lucky or not, she had no accidents.
Wanna bet?
There is an excellent chance this wealthy medical man will be exceptionally healthy and vigorous when he is 75.
He will probably be surprised to learn that his life is no different than it is at 65, especially for an office-dwelling, restaurant-going, book-enjoying, intellectually curious, etc., well-known and respected professional with a nice car, nice house, nice life.
He says that NOW!!! Wait ‘till his doctor says the “C” word and then see what he thinks.
Physician, heal thyself.
Physician, heal thyself.
Physician, heal thyself.
Can he take his brother Rahm with him?
He should go to Canada. They’ll kill him now.
Why wait, doc? Based on what you just said, you obviously are suffering from lack of dignity right now.
Emanuel also believes in euthanizing newborns. He’s the Josef Mengele of U.S. medicine, an evil, unprincipled crook.
He is lying.
I myself want to “hang around” so long as I am sound of mind, not in excess pain that cannot be alleviated and still enjoy the company of my children and grandchildren and wife hopefully still alive at this late stage in life.
If I do not have the above three, just let me go in a manner of my own choosing.
“there is also a lack of dignity when aging past 75.”
This clown lacks dignity now—no need to wait!
Sure he will.
That’s a pretty easy thing to say
Lets hope that, if he actually took the shot, that it helps expedite his journey.
