Jon, Brian, and Chris cover the 4th day of the Speaker of the House Vote live on Badlands Media. We will be joined by special guests throughout so be sure to tune in! Stream will start around 11:45 AM EST
I Googled it and got a range of $300,000 in 2018 to $95 million today. Hard to say what he’s worth with those numbers.. if that increase is true it’s highly suspicious.
I’d sure like to know how to accomplish $300K to $95M in just aa few years.
Maybe McCarthy reconstitutes management team and put Jordan in charge of approving/rejecting all House investigations, make similar assignments.
One source put him at -(minus)$5000 in 2015, so Congress has been very good for him.
A small minority, some portion of the 20 for example.
Hence, Brunson.
One litmus test I find referencing is the Brunson 388 list.
FWIW, McCarthy is not among the 388, so it's not perfect.
The Terrible Twenty are heroes to America.
I’m going to start calling the 20
The Marbleheaders
Or
The Indispensables
( hat tip to Patrick K. McDonnell )
By June 1775, the Intolerable Acts, also known as the Coercive Acts, had pushed a port town a little more than 300 miles north of Washington Crossing to the brink.
Rendered unemployed and angry by the strict trade measures imposed by British Parliament, virtually every able-bodied man in Marblehead, Massachusetts, rallied to fight against their common enemy. (Accounts vary significantly as to exactly how many men the group included at its inception.)
The men of the Marblehead Regiment rowed Washington across the Delaware and ‘saved the Continental Army multiple times.’ ·
John Glover’s Regiment of Marbleheaders accomplished an amazing feat on the night of Dec. 25, 1776. They ferried 2,400 men, plus horses and artillery, across the Delaware River in a blinding snowstorm.
Glover’s Regiment had a well-earned reputation for discipline and teamwork.
But not everyone approved of it.
/ sound familiar ? /
Have the mail-in votes showed up yet? /semi S
I still keep coming back to that point that McCarthy started measuring the curtains and moving into the office before the votes, before approval. That alone should disqualify him.
Apparently close to half of the 20 are sellouts for a few committee assignments and the like, but we’ll see with this next vote.
If anything it may show that the fix was in already.
Today is about a lot of things, but “yawn” isn’t one of them!
285, the rest are joining by remote but no overall count was announced.
Looks like she walked out during Gaetz speech
BTW, is this the FR thread for Day 4? I see several underway.
Saw that. The faces they made was very telling. RINOS!
Two cheers on votes? Did some of the 20 break ranks?
Yep lost One
Bishop bailed..
