Isn’t it wonderful that President Trump has lost his power and now we are at the mercy of 20 people who do not realize what damage they are doing.
“Trump is just using us .
Trump Spend ZERO of the money he raised on anyone .
But push some real losers like OZ .
Trump needs to go away and retire and go peddle his super image Trading cards .
I am glad the CO congresswoman told Trump to stay out of it .
Trump is old news and not relevant anymore .”
wow... dont post this on Q.
They’ll chew you up.
Many are starting to see the light they shine in our faces. They are unable to produce what we want and are playing a game we are not included in but trying real hard to convince us that we are
I backed Trump since 2015, when there were 15 other candidates to choose from. He served 4 years showing all of us he was a complete idiot with personnel. And, he shows us to this day that he hasn’t changed, and can’t change. He’s done and losing support. My military friends are all in agreement, they no longer want Trump around, it’s over with. These are older military, not modern woke.
Go away Trump. You’re finished.
I see it completely opposite.
These Republicans are akin to the original Tea Party Republicans, who were the first group to rise up and demand balanced budgets back about 15 years ago.
They represented MAGA before Trump came along and re-energized that same movement. People like Gaerz and Boebert were some of Trump’s strongest supporters.
They are still fighting against the establishment, whether Trump has the stomach for it anymore or not. Nothing is being damaged or destroyed by this delay in opening the House, other than the House rules that Pelosi put in place, that McCarthy wants to keep.
Urine nidiot
Same here - I worked on both the 2016 & 2020 Campaigns - paid for all of my own travel expenses and used all of my vacation time.
Trump really made a bad decision to give Fauci the Fraud unchecked power in the Spring of 2020. I was in a campaign office on Friday the 13th of March when we head about the lockdowns to “flatten the curve”. That decision changed America.
Not working on anyones Campaign ever again.
Most likely because there’s been some back room deals already made between the two that Trump doesn’t want to see go up in smoke. Especially if Trump already delivered on his part of the deal, like say, endorse McCarthy, which otherwise makes no sense.
ROFL. Trump can’t even control Gaetz and Boebert anymore, who were some of his biggest supporters but have realized he’s more of a tweeter than a real fighter.
So at this point, there’s no politicians anywhere beholden to Trump. Seriously. About all he has left is his fanbase, which is dwindling, because about all they do is demand everyone else bow down before him, which has only driven us away.
Nah - Trump just doesn’t want the Repubs to give the Speakership back to the Dems after retaking the House - he has since come off pushing for McCarthy
Wisdom!
“He’s sold his soul to the rhinos,”
Not so much. He is a RINO. The RINOs have all sold their souls to the lobbies and China.
This was when Trump started losing me as well. He would go up on stage with Fauci everyday, even after the conservative press was all over the gain of function scandal. To this day, I still don’t believe Trump has ever uttered the words “gain of function”.
Instead, he initiated the PPP welfare system, allowed student loans to be suspended, allowed renters to not pay their rent, and foisted dangerous gene manipulation injections on us under the guise of being vacccines.
It still took all the way to abandoning the J6 prisoners, and sneaking off with $150 million he collected for “election security” before I finally said enough is enough. But at this point, more and more are catching on.
Very true.
Also, this ridiculous back-and-forth effort to shove McCarthy into the speakership is extremely telling and proves the existential inertia of the ‘Republican Party’.
For decades the GOP has failed to (refused to) come to terms with the gargantuan chasm between ‘Republicans’ and Conservatives in the US.
What you see now demonstrates that the GOP can no longer ‘fake it to make it’ on the national stage. For so long the GOP has been happy to assume the role of a ‘bystander’ in US politics. For so long, they have been getting by on some very puerile optics … and calling it leadership! They have been in bed with the media (and their creatures) for TOO long and now, cannot overcome their own paralysis.
Sad but true. We are living in world without heroes, which can be a little depressing at times. But, our Lord never said it would be easy, or that we were put here to be entertained. It is a trial, and we are being tested. Our faith should be in Him.
But some are fighting. Matt Gaetz is far from a perfect man, so I won’t put him on a pedestal, but he deserves a lot of credit for being the only Republican Congressman (probably even the only Congressman at all) who doesn’t accept any PAC money at all. He says it helps keep his thoughts and actions clean from influence. I’m hoping that stays true as this continues to play out.
The real euexplainable about Trump is seems absolutely impervious from learning from his experiences with government. He appears to truly believe that he is so special that he can function as he wants and pay no head to the culture he is operating in.
The only outsiders who are welcomed in Washington are those who are already bought and paid for as was Bill Clinton. Jimmy Carter learned he had to be a Beltway whore to be ‘respected’ in media and DC. That is what he became after he lost the Presidency to Ronald Reagan. Thereafter he walked, talked, and acted like a parody of a woke Beltway hack and his stock soared so he became ‘America’s best former President’ and people who made no bones about hating for ‘taking the White House from Ted Kennedy’ started to fawn over him.
—> Go away Trump. You’re finished.
Time’ll tell
“Correct me if Im wrong but didnt McCarthy say Trumps choices didnt matter during the midterms? If Im correct why would he want Trumps help now?”
Quid pro quo is my guess. I think it has something to do with January 6th.
Damn skippy. I maintain that the now-hushed Awan Bros scandal was a grand net cast not by a foreign power, but our own alphabet agencies intended to exert control over Congress. They did not ensnare everyone, represented at a minimum by the ‘freedom caucus’.
This battle - as we see it publicly - is evidence to that assertion, including the failed entrapment of Gaetz and his opposition to KM.
Who would WANT to run point and become a target like Trump did for 6 years & counting? Answer: Someone with bigger cajones than Trump himself. The underlying assertion is that the establishment was very successful at fracturing their opposition over the past number of years (and it speaks loudly to a vast conspiracy, not merely a political battle waged out of bedrooms & basements).
Honestly, I fear this battle was already lost - epically demonstrated by Trump’s loss in 2022 - and this is all merely theater, which is why we’re seeing a hesitancy for someone to rise to the top in a vacuum of support in opposition to the establishment.
Another ignorant FReeper wrote “our nation is what it is”; ironically - my first thought upon reading that outrageous statement - the Founders framed a response to such in the DoI...
I think that MTG also doesn’t accept PAC money — but am not positive.
