By the third vote, Conservatives should have had a replacement in place to
receive votes. It doesn’t impress me that they are just saying no to McCarthy.
They need to move on to a man they CAN vote for.
If they can’t do that, Trump is right.
Is McCarthy another go along to get along RINO? I believe so.
Can we get a better person at this point? They sure haven’t shown
me they’re close to doing so.
He knows or else he’s stupid. Plain and simple.
Dobbs is a consistent conservative.
I predict McCarthy will postpone the vote today.
The GOP is in a mess because the “leadership” refuses to become the working class party. The just can’t do it. Most Republicans in “leadership” hate peons that work for a living or earn a paycheck. Oh if you run a small (minded) business or drink beer while humping a tractor all day long you are loved by them.
Actually Jefferies has the most votes. Just not a plurality.
This reminds me of these nitwits who run in GOP primaries for U.S. Senate seats and promise that they won't support Mitch McConnell as GOP Senate leader. If nobody is challenging McConnell for that leadership post, then what exactly are these candidates expecting to accomplish?
quicksand again?
True. The democrats are ready to play yet. They are enjoying the show even having popcorn.
Dobbs is an angry old man.
Nobody understands what is going on.
Popcorn? It’s a full course, white table cloth, sit down meal.
When Mika and Intern killer call those who oppose McCarthy “the crazies”….tells us all we need to know….about McCarthy-Luntz.
True. But that would permanently divide the GOP House and piss off the base
even more. Is that really how McCarthy wants to win the Speakership.
Dobbs is entitled to his opinion...
Since when has his approval been so vital to our side?
I don’t know why Trump is supporting McCarthy either, but I can see political benefit (if he wins)
Politics is awful, no matter what
That’s how I see it. If the House crashes it won’t be the fault of those attempting to hold the line. It will be on McCarthy for failing to unite the Republicans against the opposition Party. Not much of a leader who can’t unite the majority against democracy in favor of a Republic.
Yep. You right.
And?
I was a Jordonite yesterday, today I don’t know for sure.
However, I will note that neither Jordon nor McCarthy are members of the Brunson 388.
Everyone should understand.
He loved Mitch until Nov 2020.
