Trump has it all gamed out. He knows what happens next if A B C or D happens. McCarthy made a trip to Mar-a-Lago awhile back and I believe Trump has the art of this deal gamed perfectly. He has McC by the balls and will call the shots. H e has called out Mcturtle multiple times but not McC. There’s a reason for that. McTurtle didn’t go to MAL either.
I have been as guilty as anyone about insulating myself from prevalent opinions that I know are ridiculous. But the stakes are too high now. If this image of the GOP as being held hostage by a bunch of unserious grifting online blowhards is cemented in the minds of voters, the authoritarian reach of the left will have no limits.
There are many defenses people’s minds use to deal with an assault they could not oppose.
PA “elects” a Shrek as Senator, so Oz must have been a bad candidate - things of this nature.
Also, a lot of FReepers obviously make their living in politics. They have to be blind to the fraudulent elections, since these invalidate what they do for a living.
All of this is theater and airing of grievances, but was necessary. We now have to extricate ourselves from this sloppy mess. Accept reality but extract some concessions to get more power for the conservative minority wing of the larger and lefter majority GOP.
President Trump has a real problem when it comes to choosing conservatives.
This does nothing to make me want to see him as president again. In fact, it does the opposite.
On this, Trump is right.

McCathy is the House version of McTurtle. Compromised RINO stooge who spent money to beat actual conservatives. He needs to lose a few more rounds of voting to be embarrassed in historic fashion. Then Jim Jordan or someone reasonable needs to be Speaker. The only person qualified for the job is someone that doesn’t want it.

While possibly reversible, the country is on a terrible track in almost every avenue.
Economically, spiritually, demographically, etc.
I’m from a family where the men serve in the military.
I served, my brother, father, uncles, etc.
I wouldn’t serve now. It’s a microcosm of the state of our society.
Sometimes Trump needs to shut up. Some polls show 80-90% Republicans do not want KM. I love DJT..but DeSantis looking better.
No where in Trump’s statement does he urge McCarthy to return to House Rules
before Pelosi changed them. Big mistake.

All this second guessing gets us nothing. I’ve watched Trump closely since 2015 and what I saw was a man who loved his country and wanted to make it the greatest and freest country on earth.
I trust Trump to work tirelessly towards that end if elected this third time.

The only real argument against Trump being the 2024 Republican nominee is his failure to flush out the RINOs from the party who are hostile to him, and the MAGA agenda. Trump needs to back off on his support for RINO McCarthy and treat him with the same disdain he has for McConnell. These RINOs have sided against MAGA, and for China. They need to go, and the Republicans need to do what it takes to elect a Speaker with a pair to deal forcefully with voter fraud and fraudulent elections. That’s not McCarthy.
