So, I am now watching the opening session of the U.S. House of Representative. First order of business is the election of a Speaker of the House. I've got my popcorn.

No they wouldn’t. Everyone knows that Democrats are NEVER, EVER held to the same standards as everyone else. They will do what they can to hamstring Republicans, especially conservatives, and they know McCarthy is the likeliest ticket to do that.
