BREAKING: 9 House GOPers Reject McCarthy Deal
twitter ^ | Jan 1 | Chad Pergram

Posted on 01/01/2023 4:43:38 PM PST by RandFan

@ChadPergram

A) 9 GOP Hse mbrs or mbrs-elect sign a letter about McCarthy's offer to make concessions. "Regrettably, however, despite some progress achieved, Mr. McCarthy's statement comes almost impossibly late to address continued deficiencies ahead of the opening of the 118th Congress"

B) 9 GOPers on McCarthy: "At this stage, it cannot be a surprise that expressions of vague hopes reflected in far too many of the crucial points still under debate are insufficient."

C) 9 GOPers on McCarthy: "This is especially true with respect to Mr. McCarthy’s candidacy for speaker because the times call for radical departure from the status quo — not a continuation of past, and ongoing, Republican failures."

D) 9 GOPers on McCarthy: "For someone with a 14-year presence in senior House Republican leadership, Mr. McCarthy bears squarely the burden to correct the dysfunction he now explicitly admits across that long tenure."

E) 9 GOPers on McCarthy: "Thus far, there continue to be missing specific commitments with respect to virtually every component of our entreaties, and thus, no means to measure whether promises are kept or broken."

F) 9 GOPers on McCarthy: "Mr. McCarthy's statement also continues to propose to restrict the availability of the traditional motion to vacate the chair as a means of holding leadership accountable to its promises"

G) 9 GOPers on McCarthy: "We have from the beginning made clear that we will not accept following..Pelosi’s example by insulating leadership..We also note that the statement fails completely to address the issue of leadership working to defeat conservatives in open primaries"

H) 9 GOPers: "The progress made thus far has been helpful and should guide our thinking going forward."

I) 9 GOPers who signed the letter: Perry, Gosar, Roy, Bishop, Harris, Clyde, & Reps-elect Luna, Ogles & Crane.

None of the Congress Critters are addressing the impending CBDCs, WHO treaty theft of our national sovereignty, etc., etc.

No, we shouldn’t “Trust trump” on anything having to do with the political mechanics if Washington. Or any of his opinions of peoples character, judgement or discernment. Trump was the best president in our lifetime and was elected cause he wasn’t a politician. He understands nothing about politics and has zero discernment when it comes to picking conservatives. He insists on listening to his handlers who are telling him to support Kevin. He is what is wrong with CEOs in general. They are not leaders. CEOs stop doing what they did to become a CEO when they make it to the top. They have a superiority complex that whoever they appoint to advise must be great cause they appointed him.Trump still hasn’t got a clue what hit him 2 years ago. Trump threw the only loyalist he ever had, Bannon, under the bus at the first sign of bad media coverage. The one person other than himself who got him in the white house and the only aide who had a clue how Washington worked. No we shouldn’t take any direction from Trump, when it comes to his endorsements. We have a brain, we are involved, we don’t need advise from him like the steeple do.

Any other time un history that the person running for Speaker did not have the votes on the first count, which was a few weeks ago for Kevin, they have withdrawn their names from the process. Kevin wouldn’t do that, so here we are. Now he and others are trying to blame the Freedom Caucus group who oppose him. Karl Rove had the nerve to say Kevin raised the most money (because that’s what it’s all about, right Karl?) and that Andy Biggs didn’t raise anything. If McCarthy were a noble person he would have withdrawn his name, but he’s not, he’s just the front for his buddy Paul Ryan and the rest of the Uniparty.

This is exactly what is going on and i
I am so glad that the Matt Gaetz group have the fortitude to try to get this done and field all the misguided criticism.

If he promises to do as Nancy says, the entire left side of the aisle will vote for him, along with the handful of RHINOs need to win.

"But who is going to replace his candidacy?"

Someone who would be just as much a wild eyed fanatic as nasty Nancy ever was..

A conniving back stabber who continually plots the demise of the left.

A far, far right one eyed Jewish black woman, with a wooden leg and with a real hate for the one-worlders...

She would continual dress in patriot attar and wear a MAGA hat...

And anything else she could think of that would drive the commie rats into a seizure...

Can’t afford this f’n around while the communists charge forward. We need leadership so committee and staff can get organized.

There is no *we". Democrats and Republicans work together to enrich themselves at the expense of America. They play good cop / bad cop to continue to get our votes. But even that is coming to an end. They've perfected election stealing. Do Republicans care? Nope. Not even on rheir radar. This group is attempting to change this. I'd rather have chaos than more of the same.

That’s my assumption, but even idiots usually can see one move past the present board. I guess it’s just Scalise, and McCarthy has to pay for being insufficiently pro-Trump on Jan 6, 2020. No skin off my back either way.
