The 22-year-old trans daughter charged with killing her father inside the family’s Brooklyn apartment grinned for the cameras Thursday night as she was led out of an NYPD stationhouse.
Nikki Secondino was hit with the murder charge and other offenses after police initially believed that her dad, Carlo Secondino, was stabbed to death during an early morning home invasion at their Bensonhurst home.
Sources told The Post earlier Thursday that Nikki was suspected of concocting the fake story about the break-in to cover up her own brutal crime.
But the tale quickly fell apart and the alleged killer was additionally charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon in connection to the horrific attack in which her 19-year-old sister was also stabbed.
The younger sister was taken to Maimonides Hospital in critical condition.
Nikki smirked, but ignored questions from reporters, as detectives led her out of Brooklyn’s 62nd Precinct on Thursday night.
A neighbor of the Secondinos also said she heard Nikki making a phone call in the hallway after the slaying, claiming the family had been robbed by home invaders who also stabbed them...
She is transgender — something her dad supported, said the father’s employer, Yadira Gomez, who co-owns Mike’s Diner, where Secondino worked as a deliveryman.

He was assigned to clean patient rooms and lied to the nurses that the rooms were clean and ''patient ready''. When confronted with his lies he mouthed off to the nursing supervisor, a bad move, you just don't mouth off to nurses. It's nurses who ultimately have the last say in a hospital and you don't mouth off to them. The nursing supervisor reported him to the housekeeping director and he mouthed off to her and was fired on the spot. Some weeks later he was found stabbed to death in a van in a seedy area of town(this is on The Jersey Shore). I despise these freaks. They're given an entitlement and protection that is entirely undeserved and this is the result.
