DeSantis' primary weakness is that in relative terms, he's flat broke -- which means he will do whatever he's told to do by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the corporate/globalist interests it represents.
I have to admit that I know relatively little about DeSantis, except he was proved right about COVID lockdowns, and his state is prospering when others are not, he’s anti abortion and a conservative across the board - and he won a purple state in a landslide.
No candidate is perfect, and all competent executives have to compromise to govern. It seems like he would be a good POTUS, based upon his record in FLA, and, most important, he’s electable - he doesn’t alienate people like Trump does.
