“Where do kids get experience at the basics of showing up on time and doing a decent job?”
What does that have to do with the rate of pay? I suppose you could say the responsibility is on the parents, not the employer.

Following the rule of 72, at about 7% inflation, the National debt is halved in 10 years

More than half of states poised to cut jobs, increase total number of people on unemployment/welfare, expand automation, and decrease/eliminate customer service with minimum wage increase.
There, fixed it.

Doesn’t matter - inflation is rising much faster.Exactly, which is why most places are already paying much higher.

When I see Chick-fil-a on a resume it’s definitely a plus for the job candidate.

I agree, wage increases are not driving inflation. The lag in wage increases is more likely lowering inflation.

You don’t pay a kid to do a job for $15 bucks per hour unless that’s what the market rate is. State mandated minimum wages hurt businesses and those entering the job market with no experience

The only plus on a resume that I watch for is prior military service.

Following the rule of 72, at about 7% inflation, the National debt is halved in 10 yearsYep but it'll destroy the purchasing power of the incomes earned by the middle class. We know that's not a problem for the Democrats.

Yep. McD’s has had a big sign out for a year now. Was $15 to start, just jumped last week to $16 “Plus Meals!”. Hundreds of ‘homeless’ in my city. Thousands of high school kids with (very) nice cars/trucks and smartphones. None of this makes any sense to my troglodyte brain.

Wage inflation will lag but is a certainty. The banks holding all the various long term debt have the problem.
