Republicans DO wish to be the "Loyal Opposition", a permanent weak-sister to the ruling DemonRatz.

And why not?

As the lesser party they enjoy all the perks but none of the responsibilities.

Nice job if you can get it!

we the people will have to forge our destinies in the trials to come.

We may have to do what's necessary and hope that We The People are on the juries of those trials.

This is the lowest I have ever felt politically.

I thought 2020 was bad, but the RINOs only conspired with Rats against one man.

2022 showed without a doubt that RINO traitors are happy to lose Congress, governorships, SOS, AGs and legislatures in order to defeat MAGA candidates.

Rats are not the number one enemy. RINO traitors are. If it were not for RINO traitors, the Rats would have no power. Trump would still be president, and that ignoramus who couldn't define what a woman is would not be on SCOTUS.

What is even worse is that if the base leaves we still lose. But since we lose either, is there any incentive to stay? Electing RINOs doesn't make us winners.

But leave the Republican Party is what I am about to do.

After 50 years of voting for R’s, I’ve come to believe that 50% of “REPUBLICANS” are really “DEMOCRATS”.

So, if I’m right, what good does the Republican Party do Trumpsters (some 80-100 million of us).

It’s time to ditch the Republican Party and start up the Constitution Party. My God things can’t get any worse! What the hell difference does it make? The REPUBLICANS can’t win and don’t want to win so to hell with them!

I say FY to those Republican Senators that voted for the 1.7 trillion of stolen taxpayer money.

Their plan is to continue to lose so they can wring their hands and fundraise off it.

It is depressing. It is also a rigged game, which I will no longer participate in.

A test case coming up: will the House Republicans vote in a conservative as the new speaker or will they vote in McConnell’s counterpart: Kevin McCarthy?

To sum all that up: One bird, two wings.
The GOP wing is as useless as teats on a boar hog to its constituency. The DNC wing is insane..
It’s time to move on.

Republicans are living in the past. That's what traditionalists and conservatives do by nature.

Revolutionaries like Marxists are always living in the future (because the past is littered with the wreckage of governments that tried to impose their unworkable ideology).

There's nothing wrong with traditionalists looking longingly at the good times gone by unless they are at war with Marxist revolutionaries who are living in the present and future and whose goal is the destruction of traditional culture.

BTW, Marxists aren't classical Liberals or Progressives. They are just hiding behind those labels so they can implement their pitiful ideology.

Not trying to lose. Merely believing the role the democrats have assigned to them.

I used to vote for the Libertarian, I could live with HW, but, I ended up with Bubba Clintoon and the Bitch. I then decided I would vote for the Republican. We need a conservative third party.
