The situation in Kosovo is "on the brink of armed conflicts", Serbian prime minister Ana Brnabic said Wednesday, amid mounting tensions in former Belgrade province's volatile north.
"We have to give our best, all of us together, to try to keep the peace. We are really on the brink of armed conflicts, thanks to unilateral moves from Pristina," Brnabic said during a meeting with Serbian NGOs.
Ethnic Albanian-majority Kosovo declared independence in 2008, but Belgrade still does not recognise it and encourages the territory's Serbs to defy Pristina's authority.
Hundreds of ethnic Serbs, outraged over the arrest of an ex-police officer, set up roadblocks on December 10 in the Serb-majority northern Kosovo that have paralysed traffic through two border crossings with Serbia.

Looks like an excellent chance to launder more money and arms. Probably should support and sell to both sides.

I sure hope there is not another war there. I never understood the first one!

The first war was payback for 1000 years of Muslim crimes against humanity.

The neocons have a new country where they can send hundreds of billions in American treasure to whatever side. It’s doesn’t matter, just send the money!

“Ethnic Albanian-majority Kosovo”... Albania is doing their best to make England their next ‘Albanian-majority territory’, unless the Brits can find a way to stop them infiltrating from France by the thousands every week... It’s essentially the equivalent of Albanians coming to Canada, and then immigrating to the United States as refugees from a Canada.
And Albania will soon be an EU country... It’s astounding, because their biggest export is... Albanians.

Right now it is a cute little NATO statelet, still being babysat by NATO troops after over two decades. Camp Bondsteel was built for the ages. It was a welfare province and economic black hole for all of its existence under Tito, then under the FRY. Now the EU and US sink € and $ into it.

It really is a beautiful part of the world. I rode my motorcycle from Athens all the way up the coast and over the Italian / Austrian Alps in to Munich. Absolutely beautiful countryside.

Before that it had the Albanian communist muslims run their social security Ponzi scheme through to the logical end, basically bankrupting a country that hadn't been worth much to begin with. Like most good muslims they recognized that as an excuse to steal from their less poorly off neighbors and decided to take over Kosovo from the Serbs. And just as the west had supported the wrong underground resisters to the Germans in past and future "Yugoslavia" at the end of WWII—the ones who had supported Stalin rather than the ones who had rescued 100s of shot down Allied pilots and gotten them to captured Italy, the Clinton lead west supported the corrupt moslem Albanian invaders of Kosovo rather than the tougher but less able liars of (Orthodox) Christian Serbia. Bombing the cr*p out of the Serbs and giving the Albanians, who'd never done a dang thing for us "Kosovo" as a price. For once the post-Soviet Russians were in the right there, supporting their Serbian slavic cousins and Orthodox co-religionists. Maybe if we let Serbia boot the muslims in Kosovo back to Albania (back to the Ottomans would be more fitting) and offer Putin 2 Clintons, and sundry hangers on of their administration, for war crimes trials Vlad will offer better terms to the Ukraine.

Back in the 19th century the powers of Europe had "wars for markets" the markets being colonial dependencies who would buy manufactured good. The USA did some of that too.
In this century the USA has wars for markets, but the big market is the war itself.
