Much maligned Idaho cops — under pressure to find the killer who murdered four college kids last month — warned locals and visitors to be careful Saturday as winter commencement festivities got underway.
Authorities cautioned those in the area to stay vigilant and travel in groups during the celebration because the killer is still on the loose, the Daily Mail reported.
“With commencement this weekend, there will be an influx of people coming in from out of town. Moscow Police Department and Idaho State Police will provide coverage on campus and in the Moscow area,” police said in a statement.

“They only need two hours....................”
They are government workers, and the January 6th gig is being shut down.
I agree. I think this was an obsessed foreign exchange student that has left town.
It’s the only profile that fits all the evidence so far.
this is Idaho.open carry and concealed carry requires no permit. One jackass isnt going to stop me, or anyone else from a normal lifestyle.
“Hard to tell in a time when just about EVERYONE in a ‘leadership’ position in America is wildly incompetent. :(”
Dishonest might be a better word.
Talk about having nothing to say! “The killer is on the loose. Be careful.”
He will kill again, but elsewhere.
My bigger worry I’d the killer is targeting Idahoans and has moved north.
just whip up a lil hysteria why don’t you... WTF???
ROFL
I understand they did. Due to the fact that the house was a frat party house, everyone who attended a party there in that house was given the access code - not smart.
Giggles...I see what you did there
I heard that the reason they survived was due locking their bedroom door. That is why the killer just past right by them. This is why I lock my bedroom door when I go to sleep. The killer figured if he tried to knock down the door many would wake up.
Forget diplomas hand out pepper spray or mace
This has been one of the most inept investigations I can recall since the Las Vega shooting. A compromised crime scene, the cars not towed for two weeks, too much speculative information released to the public, and the LEOs just telling people to hide in fear and keep their phones with them.
How about telling people to get a firearm and proper training, to stay in groups (not that it helped these poor students much), stay sober, and not to go anywhere with strangers?
I read a story a couple years ago of foreign students committing crimes and our government working with foreign governments to swiftly fly them out of the country. Most of the times before actual charges could be filed.
Well Done.
I think this case is headed for the JonBenet Ramsey ‘FILE AND FORGET’ ash bin of history.
Yep. Fact is, they don’t have a clue, apparently.
You left out, don’t get dead drunk. (No pun intended).
“You left out, don’t get dead drunk. (No pun intended)”
++++
I think I included “stay sober” in my comment, but I probably should have placed that phrase in bold. People make bad decisions while under the influence. They will trust people that they normally would not and place themselves in risky situations. A night of partying needs a designated keeper who should be in charge of, not only driving, but steering their friends away questionable characters.
