I am a Trump man. No one else would be good for the country.
Voters will decide. I know I prefer either DeSantis or Youngkin or Abbott or one of several others to Trump. My circle of friends are mostly evangelicals. None are willing to vote for Trump in the 2024 primary after voting for him in 2016 & 2020. We all voted for the Trump slate here in Arizona...but we won’t vote for Trump in the primary. Several won’t vote for him again if he wins the primary.
He did something special in 2016. He deserved to be re-elected in 2020. But he’ll have to EARN the nomination and it isn’t just the establishment types who are not rallying to Trump now.
He lost me on election night when he boasted about what a great night HE had. He lost the others attacking DeSantis, then Youngkin, then saying Kari Lake should be installed as Governor, then saying HE should be declared the winner of 2020: “allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.”
