A new Yahoo News/YouGov poll finds that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis now leads former President Donald Trump by 5 percentage points in the race for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.
Trump previously led DeSantis by double-digit margins among registered voters who describe themselves as Republicans or Republican-leaning independents.
Meanwhile, DeSantis is ahead by even more — a whopping 11 points — among Americans who say they voted in a 2016 Republican primary or caucus in their state.
The poll of 1,635 U.S. adults, which was conducted from Dec. 1 to 5, is one of the first to confirm how far and fast Trump’s political stock has fallen in the weeks since he announced his own comeback White House bid just days after his party’s historically poor performance in the 2022 midterm elections. During that period, many conservatives blamed Trump for blowing key pickup opportunities — including this week’s Senate runoff in Georgia — and criticized the former president for hosting avowed antisemites at Mar-a-Lago and calling for the “termination” of the Constitution.
“Anyone seeking the presidency who thinks that the Constitution could somehow be suspended or not followed, it seems to me would have a very hard time being sworn in as president of the United States,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday.

DeSantis is backed by people that want to take down the MAGA movement as was done to the Tea Party movement. To do that, Trump’s enemies need to direct all their media assets to first take down Trump. Hence, we see dozens upon dozens of feeds and headlines smearing Trump. They are all controlled ultimately by BlackRock and Vanguard who are tied to the CCP.
If DeSantis doesn’t get smart soon (he’s reading from scripts prepared for him), his skeletons in his closet will come out and he will go down. His ambitions will be destroyed.

The fact that DeSantis did not do this means he’s controlled. His soundbites are scripted to push patriot conservative buttons. Whether he believes what he says or not doesn’t matter. He’s being used as a vessel to take down Trump and MAGA.

Also I believe he’s the only President to donate his salary to charity.

By the way, Congress many decades ago, implemented laws that completely abrogates the Constitution in case of certain emergencies. For example, the food you have stored in your freezer immediately becomes the property of the Federal government.

The Democrat Party Cabal (DPC), which includes all RINOs, can tolerate a President DeSantis but in no way can any Democrat/RINO ever tolerate President Trump in the White House again. (You saw what happened when President Trump had the nerve to enter the Oval Office the first time ... first-ever Stolen Election.)
On second thought, the DPC (including all RINOs) will only tolerate a President-Elect DeSantis until he first enters the Oval Office as President. Then the DPC (including RINOs) will spring into action just like it did when President Trump first entered the Oval Office.

I don’t pay attention to polls anymore. I, sadly, think the cancer of the Left has taken our country. I still have an inkling of hope that Trump and DeSantis run together....that would bring together a lot of people that like what Trump did but didn’t like his personality. Oh, and Kari Lake as Press Secy!
Oh just stop with the DeSantis BS. Never gonna happen. The military is going to step in before much longer and unwind this whole mess anyway.
