Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has visited troops in the eastern Donetsk region, which Russia claims as its own after a sham referendum.
The area - particularly around the town of Bakhmut - is now the main focus of fighting after Ukraine's forces retook Kherson in the south last month.
President Zelensky called it the "most difficult area that protects not only the east, but our entire state".
Russia and its proxies have controlled parts of Donetsk since 2014.
But speaking on the Day of the Armed Forces, Mr Zelensky said he believed Ukraine would take back all the land occupied by Russia, including Crimea.

Zelensky is a leader. Remember when putin’s war started and they asked Zelensky if he needed a ride out of Ukraine and he said:
“I don’t need a ride, I need ammunition”

In section 2: Security & Countering Russian Aggression
Here is the language of the 2nd part of section 2
2) The United States does not and will NEVER recognize Russia’s attempted annexation of Crimea and reaffirms its full support for international efforts, including in the Normandy Format, aimed at negotiating a diplomatic resolution to the Russia-led armed conflict in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine on the basis of respect for international law, including the UN Charter. The United States supports Ukraine’s efforts to use the Crimea Platform to coordinate international efforts to address the humanitarian and security costs of Russia’s occupation of Crimea, consistent with the Platform’s Joint Declaration.
Our should’ve never been ally(Ukraine) needs the US so they can get Crimea back. Let that sink in.
Neither Ukraine or Russia are worthy of an alliance with the United States. Nothing historically, culturally, commercially, or geographically says:
“Hi buddy, thanks for being a friend & an ally.”
And, things will get worse, much, much worse as there has been a Russian buildup underway for weeks.

You say installed, yet he won election in 2019 and beat incumbent poroshenko 75% to 25%. So me thinks you still don’t seem to know why you hate him so. Envy?
