The state of CA is bankrupt already. Greasy Newscum should take the needle out of his arm.
Shakedown town
All descendants would include a lot of white people too with roots in East Tennessee, western Virginia, Carolinas etc..
DNA don’t lie.
Couldn’t happen to a better state.
And when they spend it all on Escalades, bling and hoze, do they get to demand more “reparations?”
Sounds like something that someone contemplating higher office would do.
I don’t see what could possibly go wrong. 🤔
Or is this one of those things, where he passes a totally unworkable law, but it goes into effect long after he's out of office?
What if someone looks completely “white,” but has a report they have 1% West African ancestry?
The people that will foot the bill for this should sue if it goes ahead
I do not live in California. But thank goodness I self-identify as a Californian who is a descendant of slaves. I will also self-identify as a lesbian if that will get me a few more bucks.
So when can I expect that check?
Cadillac, BMW, Merceres dealerships, nail and hair extension parlors will be doing a land office business.
How do you demonstrate that you are descended from slaves?
Where is the money to pay slave reparations supposed to come from?
Thousands of blacks will move in

So an entire race is granted taxpayer money; based not on court mandated findings, criminal activity or damages - but by virtue of being of the wrong heritage
Thus we have sanctioned “royalty” and a peasant class, and this is constitutionally valid? Nope
That could well happen. If all you have to do is move to California to collect $223,000, it is predictable that many from out of state will establish residency in California.
Among other things,,such major movement of people will upset the apple cart, and all of the calculations they are doing about how much this will cost.
Then eventually the likes of Al-Sharpton will say that 223,000 is simply not enough to buy a house in California. I suspect this $223,000 amount will simply become a floor or starting point for future demands.
