Republican Georgia lieutenant governor says he couldn’t vote for Walker

Georgia Lt. Gov Geoff Duncan (R) said he did not vote for either Republican Herschel Walker or Sen. Raphael Warnock (D) in the state’s Senate runoff.

“I showed up to vote this morning,” Duncan told CNN’s John Berman on Wednesday. “I was one of those folks who got in line and spent about an hour waiting, and it was the most disappointing ballot I’ve ever stared at in my entire life since I started voting.”

“I had two candidates that I just couldn’t find anything that made sense for me to put my vote behind, and so I walked out of that ballot box showing up to vote but not voting for either one of them,” Duncan added.

Duncan, a frequent critic of former President Trump who blamed Republicans’ worse-than-expected midterm performance on Trump, had previously told the network that Walker had not yet earned his vote.

And this is why the GOP is losing ground with conservatives. With state party leaders such as this, why should we support them? Notice, he waited until he was safely elected before signaling his virtue.

What all his words simply mean is that this RINO supported the Democrat/Communist Party candidate ... nothing more than that.

“...This guy just ran for re-election and won easily...”

You are wrong about that.
Geoff Duncan chose not to run for a second term.
Our new Lieutenant Governor will be Burt Jones.

He was a traitor along with the rest of the never-Trumper RINOs in 2020. This does not surprise me at all.

The GOP/RNC is doing nothing that I can see to help Walker win. Anytime I turn on the TV it is one Warnock ad after another. Dems are throwing millions behind Warnock in GA. I have donated several times to Hershel, but I feel like its a drop in the ocean.

What an idiot this guy must be. Another one of those sanctimonious guys who doesn’t know who’s side he’s on until the fight is over. The ultimate Rino.

The days of lesser of two evils is over as far as I’m concerned. That’s how our country got into this mess.

Consider this possibility:
Our country got into this mess because a) the R party tends to not act effectively as a unified force and b), the American Left chips away at R resolve with politically incorrect themes and illogical myths such as not voting for the lesser of two evils.

(Clue: not voting for the lesser of two evils is a good way to give up the fight for survival.)

We in Georgia know Duncan did not run again because he would have lost his primary. He is a sleazy, disgusting Democrat parading as a Republican who hates everything Republicans stand for. No doubt the Warlock campaign threw some pieces of silver his way to get him to tap dance for them. He will never be elected to anything again as a Republican in this state. The real surprise is our Ag Commissioner who ran against Walker in the primary and now says he will not vote for him in a Warlock commercial. Gary Black HAD many friends in Georgia, all gone now.

Duncan is out in at the end of this month, and he and the Governor do not run for office together so the Gov has little power over him.

I fu--ing hate RINOs.

Trump is running in '24.

I predict that you will be voting for Trump in Nov. ‘24.

Get used to the idea.

Where else are you going to go?

And sadly, this includes President Trump.

I just knew one of you TDSers would work the Trump angle into this.
