Zelensky says Musk should visit Ukraine to see war for himself

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday took another jab at Elon Musk, suggesting he come and visit Ukraine to see the war for himself after the billionaire last month proposed Ukraine cede territory to Russia.

Zelensky, appearing at The New York Times’s DealBook Summit, said he wasn’t sure if someone has had an “influence” on Musk, but added he should visit the country to better understand the conflict.

“If you want to understand what Russia has done here, come to Ukraine and you will see this with your own eyes without any extra words,” Zelensky said. “And after that, you will tell us how to end this war, who started it and when we can end it.”

Musk conducted a poll last month asking his more than a hundred million followers to weigh in on a peace proposal to end the war in Ukraine, including redoing elections in regions of the country that Russia illegally annexed and having Ukraine give up the Crimean Peninsula.

I agree with Zelensky, just hope Musk visits the Russian side, he can read the Neocon media for the Ukraine side.

Two bad groups of people: Russians and Ukrainians.
Musk should stay away.

Instead he might propose Musk hire a bunch of mercenary wartime photographers to video all sorts of things in Ukraine, with minimal commentary.

Stop with your bullcrap neocon “great patriotic war” crappola. Donbass merely opted out of the 2014 coup. That is supposedly “why” Kiev attacked the east. But in reality the man reason was that the coup leaders were needing to get the neonazi militias out of town. They needed a way to get them out of town... so they sent them to a war in the east.

And retards like them (and you) fall for it.

I doubt anyone has to go to Ukraine to see what war is like. The world has seen enough of it to understand that.

Pro-Obama coup propagandists like Petrosius deflect from the following, which reveals why Russia invaded Crimea. The coup was followed by the invasion of Crimea and the shelling of the Donbass then followed the invasion of Crimea:

Salon
2/2/2022

“most American politicians and corporate media have fallen in line with a one-sided narrative that paints Russia as the aggressor in Ukraine, and support sending more and more weapons to Ukrainian government forces. After decades of U.S. military disasters based on such one-sided narratives, Americans should know better by now. But what are our leaders and the corporate media not telling us this time?

The most critical events that have been airbrushed out of the West’s political narrative are the violation of agreements made by Western leaders at the end of the Cold War not to expand NATO into Eastern Europe, and the U.S.-backed coup in Ukraine in February 2014. Western mainstream media accounts date the crisis in Ukraine back to Russia’s 2014 reintegration of Crimea, and the decision by ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine to secede from Ukraine as the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics. ...”

Also from Salon:

“[Obama’s] Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and U.S. ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt mentioned Tyahnybok as one of the leaders they were working with in their infamous leaked phone call..”

Donbass merely opted out of the 2014 coup.

"Donbass" opted for nothing, Russia occupied it with surrogate militias. Even if you were to take the so-called "referenda" in 2014 at face value, they were for autonomy within a united Ukraine, not for independence; even less for union with Russia.

And enough with the Russian talking-point about a "coup." The protests, regardless of any outside support, were a popular response to Yanukovych, after pressure from Russia, reneging on a deal with the EU. Violence occurred as a result of his overreaction, after which he fled the country. The democratically elected parliament declared that he had abandoned his office. There have since been two democratic elections for president. Zelensky, the present president, was elected by the Ukrainian people, not installed by the CIA. Russia ceased Crimea and Donbass as a consolation prize for not being able to control all of Ukraine.

It’s a NEW WORLD RECORD for lies in one post. 6 spectacular bald faced lies in 4 sentences! Yes, it was a coup. “regardless of outside support” was 5 billon dollars. It was not a popular response from backing out the EU deal, it was an orchestrated astroturf by western Uke Banderists we cultivated. He did not renege on a deal, the EU offered one deal that did not include Schengen rights and insisted Ukraine implement a raft of EU austerity, green, and banking measures that were exceedingly unpalatable. Russia offered them 15 billion instead. He took the better aid package and deal. Violence did not occur from his overreaction. The holy 100 or whatever gunned down in the Maidan were shot from the hotel Right Sector occupied. Nuland told them the west would not intervene unless something like 100 protesters were killed by the Uke government. Presto... 100 dead.
The “democratically elected Parliament” literally had surly right sector armed members watching their every move and forcing votes at gunpoint.

McCain admires you from hell.

Zelenski is not interested in Musk.

He is interested in Musk’s money.

Poor Musk.
