There are a couple of threads going on on FreeRepublic about this and I do not think people understand what certification of an election is and what it would mean not to certify a County election. I am attaching an article from today's Lake Havasu City Paper that I think did a very good job reporting what happened yesterday. I will be happy to answer any questions that anyone has. Mohave County is the most Conservative County in Arizona if not the whole Southwest. If I believed, for one minute, not certifying the Mohave County election would lead to something or even MEAN something positive, I would have done it in a heartbeat, even if it meant jail. But that just is not how this thing works guys.
“She’s happy Kari Lake lost, but doesn’t want any of us to know that”
That wouldn’t surprise me.
What are Abe's chances of having ALL ballots counted
Who makes this decision?
More lies from Hildy. She assumes you’re so dumb, you’ll buy whatever she posts, Drago.
Our county, Mohave, uses ES&S ExpressVote touch screen machines at polling locations.
See the 2022 details here: https://azsos.gov/sites/default/files/2022_Election_Cycle_Voting_Equipment_Aug.pdf
Give it up, Hildy, you’ve been exposed.
Mojave Co. hand tabulates all the ballots?!! My definition of “voting machine” is a touch screen type machine that records votes on a memory card (not sure what technology Dominion machines use) that does not involve a paper ballot. Paper ballots with “fill in the bubble w/black or blue ink” that get read by a scanner machine @ the polling place are still “paper ballots” in my book....i.e. can be hand-counted if a recount is needed later on.
The courts.
It’s one thing to espouse pointless, futile gestures. They can make us feel a little better for a while.
But I’m amazed at the number of people willing to throw conservative voters in Mohave County and Republicans across AZ under the bus just to make themselves happy.
You did what you should have for your county.
They are paper ballots. They get tabulated in Kingman. We do not do touch screens. We do not use Dominion.
Thank you. I am amazed at how Conservative just go after each other. Notice Democrats never do that. That’s why they are winning. You don’t kill your friends to placate your enemies.
When the Mohave County GOP spreads the word that Hildy is running again and no challengers will be supported (funded), that doesn’t mean she’s doing a “good job” for us constituents.
You get that, Jane? We only need term limits for politicians who think they’re doing a “bad job.” If they don’t, then they should be able to run opposed and declare victory for eternity.
It wouldn’t be so egregious if that was her only lie. Why don’t you ask her why she went against Trump and our State Chair Kelli Ward and endorsed Matt Salmon, then Karrin Robson for governor?
Will she admit it, or just say because she’s been doing such a good job, she should be allowed to go against the party and support NeverTrumper RINOs?
Yeah I just looked up “ES&S ExpressVote (BMD) DS850” that you use in Mojave Co. and it is just a paper ballot scanner...similar to what they use here in Fresno County, CA. Paper ballots still available for re-counts, etc..

Could be manipulated I suppose, but should be easy to check for accuracy, and you have the paper ballots as back-up.
“ExpressVote (BMD) DS850” (Mojave County, AZ) is a paper ballot scanner....not a touch screen voting machine.

(from your link...thanks for that: https://azsos.gov/sites/default/files/2022_Election_Cycle_Voting_Equipment_Aug.pdf )

Thank you for all your hard work, appreciated.
Just FYI: Mojave County ballot/vote tabulation machine testing open to the public on December 8, 2022:

(For “locals” if interested)
My pleasure.
Re: 109 - Why should the Mohave County GOP fund challengers in a Republican primary? That’s not the way it works.
Re: 99 - And you don’t get it - Mohave County not certifying for another county’s mess ups is contrary to law. Responding to alleged law breaking with confirmed law breaking is not a winning strategy. Unless of course you’re criticizing people at a distance.
p
No Fury, I totally get it. Mohave County has it within their power to certify or not. If the state wants to come after them for not certifying it for “the wrong rerasons”, then so be it. You force the state to address Maricopa’s flouting of the law. I’m guessing you would have been a Loyalist back in the days of the Revolutionary War. I’m also guessing you would have been in favor of arresting Black civil rights protestors who refused to sit at the back of the bus because they weren’t obeying the law.
“Unless of course you’re criticizing people at a distance.”
Of course I’m criticizing someone at a distance. What do you think YOU’RE doing? Stop embarrassing yourself.
“I am amazed at how Conservative just go after each other. Notice Democrats never do that.”
I’m amazed at how many of our GOP “representatives” care about nothing more than remaining in office. I’m amazed at how many of them make promises to fight for their Conservative base and then fold like a cheap suit. Have you ever noticed Democrats never do that?
