Former President Donald Trump confirmed Friday he met this week with Ye — the rapper formerly known as Kanye West — and far-right activist Nick Fuentes, whom the Justice Department has called a “white supremacist.”
Trump said in a post on Truth Social that he was not expecting Fuentes to attend the dinner at his Mar-a-Lago resort and claimed he didn’t know anything about Fuentes, who led “Stop the Steal” rallies after the 2020 presidential election in support of Trump’s false claims about widespread fraud.
“This past week, Kanye West called me to have dinner at Mar-a-Lago,” said Trump, who is running for president again in 2024. “Shortly thereafter, he unexpectedly showed up with three of his friends, whom I knew nothing about. We had dinner on Tuesday evening with many members present on the back patio. The dinner was quick and uneventful. They then left for the airport.”
Trump’s acknowledgement of the dinner followed reports from The Daily Beast and the entertainment website Consequence as well as a social media video posted by Ye describing the dinner.
In the video, Ye said he asked Trump to be his running mate in the 2024 presidential election, which Trump was “perturbed about,” according to the rapper.
Ye claimed Trump “started basically screaming at me at the table telling me I was going to lose.”
“I mean, has that ever worked for anyone in history?” Ye said. “I'm like, ‘Whoa, whoa, hold on, hold on, Trump. You're talking to Ye.’”
The rapper also implied that Trump made a derogatory about Ye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and that the former president “is really impressed with Nick Fuentes.”

This is where trump loses me. If he wants to be the nominee he’s gotta think better and make better decisions.
But of course. Everyday in the corrupt corporate media, there’s some news article that says whites are responsible for this, whites are causing climate change by having too many kids...what do people expect when whites finally wake up and realize they’re both being used and screwed over to advance everyone else and say screw it, I’m going to look after my family and race too like every other “minority” group out there?

Remember when Trump said he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose any voters? It’s true around this website as well. He could do anything and the trump cult members would still lick his boots. It’s sad more than anything else. But when he loses in 2024 that’ll be the end of him.

I am against DeSantis in 2024. It’s very possible to say Trump messes up sometimes and continue to think he is the stronger candidate for Republicans. This is not a personality cult.
It really isn’t too hard to look up people on the internet before letting them meet the president. This is basic advance work for any politician.
