Following seven months of research and data collection on the feasibility of legalizing medical cannabis by executive action, Gov. Andy Beshear signed an executive order allowing qualified individuals to bring marijuana that was legally-purchased in another state into Kentucky without being penalized, effective Jan. 1, 2023.
“January was the date we chose because we’re gonna have to work through some things,” Beshear said during his Team Kentucky Update last Thursday. “The fact that the legislature hasn’t passed a full-blown system for medical marijuana requires not only that I do, this but also makes it challenging in how we implement it. The answer to many of those challenges is that they come in in January and pass the full thing, and I’m happy to rescind those executive orders.”

When a governor details a specific policy and category for non-enforcement of a law, it's not a mere act of discretion or executive order; it's a legislative act. Dems and libertinefairian "republicans" have not yet been able to railroad pot legalization fraud, nor by ballot measure (despite of the advantage of overriding bicameral protections in legislature), so their DEMONRAT faeggot pot loving governor pushes pot through as "medicine" by LOKAEE (Legislation Otherwise Known as "Executive Order"). Can't wait until our society finally purges these pot and other hallucinogen pushers from government and media. It's going to be painful for many but it has to be done for revival of our nation.

(Pot legalization licenses every degenerate pothead piece of trash to force drug neighbors.)

I'd love to hear these people rationalize how an executive order to not enforce a law is "faithfully executing" the law, according to their oath.

Call it a moratorium. The last two Oregon governors have not executed condemned criminals. I expect the same from the new one.

Nope. It’s about the law enforcement in the cities who no longer write tickets for possession. Unfortunately, it gives them cover to continue to do so. You are more likely to be cited under open container than an open vape.

There’s a reason we call that SOB King Andy. If he had his way he would dissolve the legislature.
Democrats talk about democracy, the reality is they hate it. They despise giving the little people any say so in their governing. They also despise the legislature unless it’s theirs lock, stock, and barrel. King Andy considers legally passed legislation to be a hindrance to his rule.
My antipathy for this despot is nearly boundless

Gov. Andy Beshear signed an executive order allowing qualified individuals to bring marijuana that was legally-purchased in another state into Kentucky without being penalized... So... out-of-state drugs are okay but the governor still violates rights of citizens by requiring them to have a permit to carry a knife and refusing to allow adults under age 21 from carrying a firearm.
Since Andy Beshear prioritizes out-of-state rights over Kentucky citizens' rights, what about bringing in licensed prostitutes from Nevada?

The real problem comes when they quasi-legalize it. Virginia allows you to grow and possess but not to buy (except medical and supplies are scarce because you can buy a card for $100). I converted my 4 plants to oil for topical use for Arthritis.

"the introduction of drugs to school kids." That has been going on for 50+ years. Adderal and other ADHD drugs pushed on kids by schools.

It works very well as a daily application. It removes the dull ache. I ruined my right elbow pitching and it has really loosened it up. The Weed itself was not very good so this seemed like the best use of it.
