Press reports say an "avalanche" of illegal immigrants is massing in Mexico, ready to cross into the United States once Title 42, the public health authority, is lifted in a few weeks.
What, if anything, can the incoming Republican majority in the House of Representatives do about it?

Since when have rinos and democrats done anything productive for the People ???
They are not ignoring the “problem”. They know about the issue, they simply don’t see it as a “problem” because they are hopeful these emergrants will vote Democrat because of the amount of melanin in their skin.
Once the Democrats determine that they were wrong, and hispanics will vote Republican, then and only then will the Democrats suddenly start seeing the “problem” and agree in to stop it.
When the GOP controlled Congress, they didn’t work with Trump to get the wall built. They are such frauds. They don’t work for their voters, they work for their donors, who want open borders and cheap exploitable employees

Not gonna happen. Except for Cubans in Florida, Hispanics vote Democrat and there’s no evidence that’s going to change.
the fastest growing segment of the protestant church is former Hispanic Catholics converting to Protestantism, and those that do are extremely conservative and vote accordingly.
I’ll believe that when I see it. It has to be more than just another bunch of hearings, it has to go beyond that.
Have any Republicans called for finishing the wall? It wasn’t in McCarthys agenda paper for the midterms, or in Sen Rick Scott’s midterm agenda either.

We’re gaining lots of Hispanic voters in south Texas. We did pick up a Congressional district in the RGV.
