TRUMP CALLS OUT REPUBLICAN WEAKNESS: ‘YOU CAN’T WIN WITHOUT MAGA!’
RSBN ^ | November 21, 2022 | Summer Lane

Posted on 11/21/2022 4:06:15 PM PST by SoConPubbie

President Trump took failed Republican Colorado Senate nominee Joe O’Dea to task on Monday in a blistering statement, lambasting candidates who shifted their policy priorities after winning their primaries and dumping the MAGA agenda.

“Joe O’Dea lost his race in Colorado by over 12 points because he campaigned against MAGA,” Trump wrote in an official statement. “Likewise, candidates who shifted their ‘messaging’ after winning big in the Primaries (Bolduc!) saw big losses in the General.”

NEW!

“Joe O’Dea lost his race in CO by over 12 points because he campaigned against MAGA. Likewise, candidates who shifted their ‘messaging’ after winning big in the Primaries (Bolduc!) saw big losses in General. Will they ever learn their lesson? You can’t win without MAGA!” pic.twitter.com/zpPznnDCFK— Liz Harrington (@realLizUSA) November 21, 2022

Don Bolduc was the U.S. Republican Senate nominee in New Hampshire who lost to Democrat Sen. Maggie Hassan this midterm cycle. O’Dea was considered a moderate Republican in the Colorado Senate race and lost his election to Colorado incumbent Democrat Sen. Michael Bennett, per Fox News.

Via RSBN, O’Dea specifically drew the ire of Trump and his loyal voting base this fall when the Senate nominee unwisely told CNN that if the 45th president ran for office again in 2024, he would “actively campaign against Donald Trump and make sure that we’ve got four or five really great Republicans right now.”

Trump responded to O’Dea’s comments, noting, “MAGA doesn’t Vote for stupid people with big mouths! Good luck Joe!”

O’Dea’s midterm loss in Colorado seems to indicate that Trump’s prediction was correct.

“Will they ever learn their lesson?” Trump continued in his Monday statement. “You can’t win without MAGA!”

Trump’s warning to weak-kneed Republican candidates came on the heels of “232 wins and only 22 losses” this midterm season, according to the president.

Trump spent the entirety of 2022 staging powerful “Save America” rallies around the country, rallying for strong America First candidates – most of whom rocketed to success in the general election.

In fact, the House of Representatives officially fell under majority Republican control following the midterms, as reported by RSBN.

What message should the GOP have offered to counter Biden’s student loan forgiveness?

The only thing I heard from any Republicans is the debtors should pay up. Is there another message the GOP should have put out there?

For myself, I don’t see why bankruptcy should be available for student loans as for most other kinds of loans. Especially since these loans are given out to young people with no income and collateral - the very definition of a risky and even predatory loan. But the GOP never suggests that, or any other alternative to the status quo

The GOP doesn’t even suggest changes for the program going forward, like making loans available only at colleges that cut costs, limit bureaucracy and keep tuition increases in line with inflation. The GOP could use the program to force reforms on the woke, bloated university system, but instead the GOP doesn’t propose any policy changes, and only tells the debtors to pay up with no avenues for relief

You say that as if it’s an accomplishment, or negates what I posted.

Baseball consider .333 to be great, and .400 to be Nirvana

Trumps batting rate is all universe compared to those, and the MSM would rather focus on the few times he hit a grounder , or fly ball to a fielder for an out or actually struck out....

Pathetic and indicative of todays culture understanding what success looks like.

This is partly true. In 2024, whomever is running for congress, senate, and President is going to need the enthusiasm that has thus far really only been captured on a wide scale by Trump in the MAGA movement.

The other part, the part that Trump is going to have to adjust to, is that the rules have changed since 2016, and MAGA needs the infrastructure and manpower of a cooperative and enthusastic national party to get over the top and win.

Both need one another, and neither is currently ready to work with the other.

I agree that Oz was the wrong Senate candidate and said as much before the primary. Trump made the wrong call on Senate and PAGOV.

Most elected republicans are just liberals anyways and don’t care about winning nor do they care about America. They need “MAGA” voters to be able to win (if they want to win). They don’t have to particularly like Trump to be “American First”, its not like Trump invented it.
Too many Republicans still think that the NeoCons are a serious political movement though. They need to move past it at this point, its a failed movement.

At least we have the House if they can keep their act together, and crush any potential traitors.

That’s correct. 2016 is no longer possible. The rats know when we vote and use this info to suppress the Republican vote. The overwhelming majority of Republicans vote in person on Election Day. In AZ 60% of the machines in the Phoenix area malfunctioned on that day. And these shameless bastards have the nerve to preach to us about voter suppression.

“The lame o in PA, OZ whatever, is one of them. He never mentioned Trump.”

False. In October before the election he said he would support Trump in 2024.

After the loss, Trump blamed his wife for the poor endorsement.

Yeah it was the worst I’ve seen in decades. No wonder Shapiro spent all that money to promote him to low info Republicans.

Mastriano was a total failure.

where President Joe Biden won in 2020 by 13 percentage points.

He only beat Trump's number by 1.

It will block Senate bills for sure but McCarthy is going to knuckle under to fund the government by the biggest Republican donors. I think he’ll fold.

It seems to me that this is going to be a long two years.
Between these shitbirds, and a potential further economic downturn...

OZ was a horrible candidate. We watched the whole darn thing. Fetterbrain is a potato, and I saw way more of those STUPID lawn signs for him in our little place where we have our Cottage than OZ. Remember what Carville said, “Ya got Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Alabama.. well, a lot of the Alabama-Pennsylvanians got rooked into Fetterman.

Retarded, but American and wore Carhartt. That’s enough.
I’m west of Philly and knew it was coming.
Oh well, maybe a meteor will strike the Earth.
Fingers crossed...
