Five people have died after a gunman opened fire inside a gay nightclub in Colorado last night.
At least 18 people were injured after shots were fired inside Club Q in Colorado Springs just before midnight, a police spokesperson has confirmed.
Numerous victims, some in critical condition, were transported to nearby hospitals. The medical facilities are currently working to notify families of their loved ones' conditions.

In the same area some of my son’s USMC Infantry buddies took armed security jobs in the legal marijuana industry.
The pay was good but they worked as independent contractors,NO INSURANCE OF ANY TYPE, and no benefits.
This was 2005, I do not know about today.
Because marijuana is federally illegal the dealers could not use credit cards, it was all cash and lots of it.
Plus every hog, dog, and frog attempting to break into the building...
And if you shoot you are personally liable.
None of them stayed on long.

That story doesn't track considering MJ was first legalized in Colorado in 2012.

Good question. Court records don't appear to be user-friendly and I don't care to pay for the private sources. I'll make a WAG that the young man got off on some sort of first offense type deferral/diversion, probably with court ordered psychiatric counseling. Parent(s) might've had some influence.
