France has re-ignited simmering diplomatic tensions with Australia after Emmanuel Macron warned that the country entered a “nuclear confrontation” with China by choosing to acquire nuclear-powered submarines....
...He told reporters in Bangkok that Australia’s original deal with France was “not confrontational to China because they are not nuclear-powered submarines”.
“But the choice made by prime minister Morrison was the opposite, re-entering into nuclear confrontation..."

Australia is too busy getting its Fascism on with the new XBB COVID variant to worry about China.
Marcon just a flat out idiot whose military has enough munitions, etc problems that it is now only best suited for a Safari in North Africa....
French cheese eating surrender monkey doesn’t understand that it isn’t the power source that matters, it’s the delivered payload???
He did some things that made me think he might not be a b.tch.
I was wrong.
He is angry that Australia canceled the contract with the French and chose US-UK for their submarines.
Macron is pissed because Australia isn’t buying their non-nuclear subs is the way I read it.
Is Macron that stupid?
Macron knows that he is telling a lie.
The story here is that Australia originally contracted France to build them diesel submarines.
France had delays and wasn’t in compliance with the contract so Australia canceled it for non-compliance and made a new contract with a US-UK joint venture to build them subs and this time nuclear powered (not nuclear weapons carrying).
France is of course pissed about losing the contract.
Dont try to protect your self its futile, macron. Australia is already a china satellite
Shouldn’t he be happy they are moving away from fossil fuels.
Looks like part of being woke will require Australians to brush up on their Mandarin.
