The line of reasoning is sound and Trump should refuse also. That said, a little voice in the back of my head tells me that maybe he doesn’t want to answer questions from any of the Republicans on the committee, IF there are any conservatives on it.
I was buying part of it too. I was interested in all the threats to Trump,
and this guy gets a pass. That may change.
