At an annual gathering of Republican governors in Orlando, donors and lobbyists mingled with governors past, present and future while weighing ways to wrest Mr. Trump from the party’s base. Their main complaint was not over policy or even style, but losses the party has taken since Mr. Trump won the White House in 2016.
Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota, a Republican often mentioned as a potential 2024 candidate, said she did not believe Mr. Trump offered “the best chance” for the party in 2024.
“If we narrow our focus there, then we’re not talking to every single American,” Ms. Noem said in an interview as she sat across a mahogany table from her political adviser, Corey Lewandowski, who served as campaign manager for an early portion of Mr. Trump’s 2016 bid. “Our job is not just to talk to people who love Trump or hate Trump. Our job is to talk to every single American.”

What are you talking about? What Gay Marriage Bill? The one that just passed in the Senate? Noem is the Governor of South Dakota.
Can’t put lipstick on the pig of the the midterm elections and fairly or not, Trump is seen as damaged by the results.
Senate Republicans aren’t afraid of Trump as seen by their recent vote to keep McConnell as their leader.
I’m 70 years old and I have only seen one man expose the Republicans Rinos for what they are. No man has fought the media like Trump, not even Reagan. Trump is the only politician that did what he promised. And they stole the election. And you don’t think Trump should be President again. Every other Republican will cave in to the pressure. You people are fickle and are not loyal. The democrates are loving the fact that they have won. The one man that they don’t want to run, Trump, is are only chance.
Divide and conquer.
The devil sows discord.
Screw them all.
/Trump 2024 or bust
Trump, hence the pernicious plot of division.
Do not be deceived.
Many will.
Far TOO MANY "go along to get along" types here on FR.
Thanks for standing your ground.. and I will also join you.
—> Save that clever anger and sarcasm for the enemy, the Dem/Socialists.
Some of our worst enemies are republicans, and they deserve the mocking and scorn they receive.

+1
Trump should have started his own Party.
Go Trump ☑️
Not the timeqs
Yeah, the GOP establishment who talk up a storm when out of power, but do nothing when they are in control. They're just happy to work with their friends across the aisle, and watch their accounts grow as they trade on inside information.
Maybe correct, but, usually doesn’t turn out well.
Trump should retire and enjoy the few remining years of his life!
Too old and really getting somewhat senile!
It’s The New York Slimes.
I agree. The hyperbole and Trump blaming for “losses” which I don’t see, I see wins and strides with many sections of the population. Disappointed in Corey abd surprised Noem hired him. That said, I’ve never liked or trusted Noem.
Can you provide an example of the senility that you speak of?
What’s so eye opening and disappointing regardless of Trump, is how shallow, dishonest, disloyal, viscous and venal the majority of our “elected” officials are. It turns my stomach.
