Former first daughter Ivanka Trump said late Tuesday that she would play no part in her father’s 2024 presidential campaign, one day after The Post reported the former commander-in-chief had pleaded with her to be on stage with him when he announced his run.
“I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics,” Ivanka, 41, said in a statement.
“While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena,” she added. “I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our administration’s accomplishments.”

Sources told The Post Monday that Donald Trump, 76, spent part of daughter Tiffany’s wedding this past weekend trying to cajole Jared and Ivanka to join him on stage for the announcement and present a united family front — appeals that were rejected.

DACA? President said that deporting everyone was impossible. Instead he pretty much shut down illegal immigration and reduced refugees to a trickle. So much so that the refugee resettlement companies were almost out of business.

Unlike too many others on this site, I don’t post a temper tantrum and disappear. I, at least, try to back things up. Others take it as they will.

I’ve read all the posts on this thread and, as usual, I agree with some, disagree with others, and laugh out loud at many of them.
That said, amongst all the comments, I think one point is missed. It is this. I have a daughter every bit as beautiful as Ivanka. She has two kids of similar age. Her education level is higher. She is married to a wealthy, LIBERAL, lawyer and is the Controller for a large company.
I guarantee that if I were announcing for President, and I had requested her presence on stage, she would have been there, standing beside her dad, even in the face of gunfire! And, her liberal, lawyer husband would have been standing right beside her.
Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, Ivanka and Jared are of OPPOSITE political pedigrees of DJT and should definitely stay out of his next administration.

And damn near everyone on here wants to push the guy off a ledge, as if they could do the same before lunch on a Tuesday.
As I said, he isn’t my first pick, but he did something that ranks a bit higher than, OK, IMHO.
The Deep State and government bureaucrats did their best to screw Pres Trump, every day. He turned to people he trusted. Last time I checked none of them were with Mnuchin, Ross, et al renegotiating trade deals or running the DOJ. They were the only people he could trust for crying out loud.
And what was the result of all of that?
Pres Trump pulling the US out of the Paris Accords.
On top of that, you’re attempting to use one of the most DC Eatablishment, liberal rags out there.
Do you have any experience working with diplomats and US State Dept folks? I do. I’m confident in saying that, presently and since Clinton(at least), the State Dept is filled with about 85-90% folks who hate America.
