You're probably right.
What would it take for Republican to win? Winning all the obvious red states and winning Georgia, Virginia and Nevada, where there are Republican governors that could crackdown on voter fraud. Kemp, however, likely won't do that for anything but an approved establishment candidate.

I think DeSantis has been a great governor but..... if he ran against Katie Hobbs in AZ he would have “lost” as well.

Why do people use declaratives when merely stating opinion based on no fact?
He'll find out the hard way that's not true. If he thinks the media in Florida is tough, wait until the District of Corruption & national media start in on him.
They'll fabricate lie, after lie, after lie and do whatever they have to, to make him rebut them. And when he does, they'll twist his words just like they did to Trump for four years as President, and since leaving office.
