Schumer: ‘The voters always cared about abortion’
The Hill ^ | 11/14/2022 | Brad Dress

Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Monday said midterm voters “always cared about abortion” after reproductive rights proved to be a decisive factor for many midterm voters.

Exit polls showed 27 percent of voters cited abortion as the single most important issue that informed their vote, just behind inflation at 31 percent.

Schumer said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Monday that Democratic candidates up and down the ballot continued to campaign on abortion rights, even when polls indicated it was fading as a major issue for Americans.

“It stayed in the hearts of the people,” Schumer said. “Abortion had always stayed as a very important issue with large numbers of people.”

Like I’ve said before,
If you don’t want children, don’t get pregnant...
It’s that simple...

Schumer barely made it to 56% of the vote in this election, and all this running against a political neophyte, Joe Pinion.

In 2016, Schumer got 70+% of the vote, so how does he explain his drop of 14% between 2016 and 2022?

“The democrats have framed the abortion as “sexual freedom”

That’s like saying murder should be framed as extermination.

This won’t be any more nuts than what is already happening now = = =

Republicans need to attract abortion advocates.

Get a mobile abortion clinic. Take it to rallys. Big Repub signs on it. Offer free service. Take that opportunity to register the patient, and offer mail in ballot/harvesting immediately.

Hey, this is the Dem model. Just adding in some Repub ‘love’.

Now announce this plan.

See who howls and screams.

OK Schmuck, let's have a vote on the 10 Commandments while we are at it. Oh, and 90% of Germans voted for the Shoah too.

Basically, Chuckie’s voters will let you do anything to them, let you take everything from them, destroy their economic future, put them out on the streets with murderers and fentanyl pushers…as long as you let them kill their children, it’s all good.

America is such a great country. It’s such an example to the world and humanity 💩💩💩

Women must like to give their bodies in casual, unprotected sex without need for romance, commitment or financial responsibility. Must think this prepares them for long term relationships, or maybe not.

Are that many women afraid they can’t spread for random studs and then get rid of the results?

What decided the midterms was suburban moms who worried about their teenage daughters getting pregnant.

Anti-abortion referenda lost in Kentucky and Montana, which voted solidly Republican.

Let's face it, legal abortion is popular.

As soon as I saw the 60/40 win for abortion in Kansas, I knew it was a bad omen.

Only God can straighten this out..I’m afraid.

When the SC decision was announced the 25 year old guy next to me in the office was pissed. Could not believe they would do it. Young people in general want abortion on demand everywhere.

Thanks for the on-the-ground report.

No it isn’t.

Men love being sluts.

No they don’t have the ultimate choice of abortion but PLENTY put the pressure on.

Don’t think men are all lily white when it comes to abortionNOR definitely sex. The Pill and abortion and better condoms ultimately let THEM get their way, or €>%*^<ing around all they want. The opposite of what feminists said would happen has. Women are MORE sexualized and objectified than in the “prudish” era.
