Meghan McCain: Midterm results should be ‘final nail’ in Trump’s political coffin

Conservative pundit Meghan McCain says that Tuesday’s disappointing midterm election results for Republicans might have put the “final nail in the coffin” for former President Trump’s political career.

In an op-ed published by the Daily Mail Wednesday, McCain, a former panelist on ABC’s daytime talk show “The View,” wrote that Republicans “are waking up this morning outraged and confused” because the GOP has so far failed to gain majority control of the House and Senate despite “the highest inflation rate in decades, crime that is “up everywhere” and President Biden’s low approval ratings.

John McCain threw his own election. Even his Campaign Manager didn’t vote for him.

Exactly. Also if you look way back to the midterms during the very unpopular Carter years they held their line at midterms juat like today, however, we know what happened 2 years later!

She’s crazy.
This midterm was about stopping Trump.
It’s the ONLY thing the uniparty cares about.
He is a threat to the entire political establishment, both sides.
If they try to foist DeSantis on republicans in 2024, the RINOs will steal the nomination from him, like taking candy from a baby.
DeSantis still doesn’t have the name recognition, and nowhere near enough money to stop the RINOs.
McConnell and the Bush crowd want everything to go back to the way it was before Trump, and it is the ONLY thing they care about.
They would rather lose 100 elections and let the democrats control America permanently, so long as they still get their globalism and free trade deals.

The Spoiled Fat Pig McCain thinks she’s relevant and important as a Faux Republican. Not a chance. Me-Again, go back to your fried bacon flavor donuts and trust fund, nobody cares about what you have to say.

Exactly. It seemed to me the GOP was going sit back and hope the economy ,the most important topic by far, would propel them to the top by default. Maybe the GOP forgot that they have no friends in the media to push their narratives in the same fashion as the leftist who run it do.

Biden lies every day and ruined this country but all we hear about is Trump Trump Trump.

If all that’s true, Trump probably doesn’t have much hope of getting back into the White House.

We need to remember and emphasize that MAGA is a idea and bigger than any one person.

The principles of MAGA are simple patriotism, and Reagan did a great job with them as well. If we are going to convince the reluctant and media brainwashed fools to wake up, we need to divorce the concept of patriotism from the Trump name.

All of the media has framed Trump as the enemy for so many years. Wait until they pin the vax issues on him for Warp Speed - they’re saving that one for 2024.

So where’s our “Reagan”?

Let's see, Reagan won in a "landslide" in 1966 with 57.5% of the vote. I'm wonder if lightening can strike twice with a recent governor who won in a "landslide" with about 59%.

Meghan has a massive case of butt hurt. Considering the size of her butt, it could be a fatal case.
