All we need to do is get rid of Trump and the Republican establishment will let us win again with Romney-like candidate.

Anyone that believes Trump and candidates that were too conservative or flawed was the problem is either a fool or in on the fix.

Florida banend Zuckerbucks, prosecuted voter fraud, and got the results counted promptly.

The result? A record red wave.

Other states didn’t clean up their acts and we lost.

Things will only get worse from here. 174 TRILLION in unfunded liabilities. The young and stupid were overwhelmingly voting Democrat as Dems have control over the universities and media.

Will keep fighting but a good time to go into ‘prepper mode’ if you haven’t already.

I suspect that the majority of voters did not vote Democrat. I further suspect that the voters have not been making the decisions as to who will be elected for decades. The only time they slipped up was when Trump was elected. And they immediately went to work to correct the voters’ error.

It is not a matter of conservative, it is personality. And we are late in recognizing that Trump is simply toxic. Time to face it, like I think many are here on FR, and move on. Does that mean DeSantis? Maybe. No need to rush on next "leader" except to push aside McConnell and McCarthy and their ilk. We've got some great Republican governors, time to let them show some national leadership.

Sadly, we'll also see Lyn' Ted, Little Marco, and others try to claim a few more minutes of limelight.

You should have seen the Trump-blamers here last night. For a minute I thought I was on some liberal site. There was even a dude who defended McConnell of all people!

Something is seriously wrong here. Trump or no Trump it was obvious things needed to change. But people voted for the same thing.

Maybe it’s the public to blame for allowing this mess.

All those issues ignore:

1. Young females who want abortion on demand
2. Blacks who vote 90%+ Dem because R’s are the Klan and will discontinue the free stuff
3. Union voters (esp teachers)
4. LGBTQ who see Republicans as a threat to their ‘rights.’

What happened in a far off war? They don’t care.

Inflation? That’s too obscure a concept and difficult for them to assign blame. High gas prices are due to ‘greedy corporations’ - not Biden policies is what their ‘news source propaganda’ says.

Dems have successfully framed the Republican party as a direct threat to the personal rights of millions of Americans who will vote angrily to stop Republicans - even if it means voting for a braindead potato like Fetterman or Biden.

Sure, just keep on ignoring Trump's high negatives with voters. This election should have been about Biden and the democrat's policies, not about Trump.

73% of voters were dissatisfied or angry about the destruction of the country.

***********

I think you’re misinterpreting that. They are angry about not getting enough free stuff. They actually want more government.

MAGA met the cheat machine, and MAGA lost. Considering that most people here think we just had an honest and fair election then it is probably time for those that do see it to just pick up their ball and go home. Wait for the darkest days and the end of this constitutional republic.

This illustrates how the democrats have succeeded in detaching the issues from the officials responsible for them. People are angry about these issues but they don’t connect the problems with their elected representatives. They think the problems are just there, nobody’s fault, maybe republicans did it, but their guy had nothing to do with any of these. So they vote based on some trivial consideration, brand loyalty, whatever moves their little pea brains.

The problem was that Trump wasn’t too conservative. He was too Trump and he made it too much about him.

Much of it was the long-established voting for incumbents tradition — people thinking Congress is awful, but my own Rep isn’t so bad. It wasn’t always like that, but incumbents have the money and the name recognition and that helps when advertising is so important. Vote fraud can’t be excluded as a possibility, but for a lot of people who actually voted, Trump and MAGA were minuses, rather than plus.

We fought a decades long battle against socialism/communism.

While we defeated the Soviet Union, they hurt us in many ways.

The legacy of their attacks WITHIN The United States carries forward unto today.

“Anyone that believes Trump and candidates that were too conservative or flawed was the problem is either a fool or in on the fix.”

I agree with your opinion. However, President Trump came along and showed us how things could & should be in the Republican party and America. I think that, irreparably split, divided & tore asunder the Republican Party.
Then we nominated what I call MAGA American Candidates.
What happened next?
The GOPe controlling The Party and the purse, then in a hissy fit pulled funding for some MAGA candidates in very winnable races and the Democrats exploited the split.
My opinion is the Republican party is now in a very bitter civil war. A civil war that is probably going to be the death of the Republican party unless they can find a way to reunite. And that I do not see.
