A measure to enshrine abortion as a “fundamental right” in the state constitution of Michigan has been projected to become law following Tuesday’s vote.

The state ballot initiative Proposal 3, which would establish a “fundamental right to reproductive freedom,” including access to abortion, has been projected to pass by the Associated Press, with 56 per cent of voters backing the move to amend the state constitution compared to 44 per cent against as 78 per cent of votes were counted.

How long have you been here?

We have 2 seasons - winter and construction! Everything is either a terrible surface or constant repair or overhaul. It’s been this way for decades, yet if you just cross the State line to Ohio, or go over to London (Canada), the roads are great.

Whitler was one of the Gov’s that put COVID patients people into nursing homes and killed 1000’s. She used her influence to remove other candidates from the ballot. She self-declared indefinite COVID emergency powers, destroyed businesses, and ruined lives.

Not terribly awful?

Since 2014. Ever lived on the left coast? It’s much worse out there.

Michigan! The Baby Killer State! Sounds good.

The people of Michigan have lost their ever loving minds, I guess they like inflation and paying > $5.00 and more per gallon of gasoline. FOOLS.

...spent plenty of time in left coast States, couldn’t live there. I get what you’re saying but the roads, specifically, are far worse here.

At the end of the day - there’s no reason for Whitler to be popular enough for reelection, with many, many, negatives. Yet wins by a wide margin. Knowing how things work in Detroit, where massive numbers of votes come from, I’m just very suspicious - especially with what happened there in 2020.

The beauty of overturning Roe v. Wade is that this kind of garbage can also be overturned -- and much easier.
