Top Republicans including Senators Lindsey Graham and Ted Cruz admitted that the predicted 'red wave' had not materialized as Democrats were victorious in crucial House races and won a Senate seats in Nevada.

'Definitely not a Republican wave, that's for darn sure,' GOP Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina told NBC News just hours after the GOP started the night strong with Ron DeSantis' landslide victory in the Florida Governor race.

And Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas said: 'It hasn't been as big of a wave as I'd hoped it would be. We've had some close races go the other way so far.'

Yeah, well Lindsey if you care nothing about election integrity, then the Democrats will continue using their election theft tactics very successfully.

You are the poster boy for the Stupid Party moniker the Republicans have acquired and maintained over the years.

You are exactly spot on. If republicans had prevailed across the board the commies would have projected blame on them for the next 2 years. I said as much last summer. Would I like to have seen a “red wave” yes, but maybe it was not to be.

The Republicans had an excellent night.

In sports, if you win 9:3, it’s a pretty definitive win. But of course we’re talking politics and there the focus will be in the “loser” scoring 3.

The House is likely representative of what is to come in part II when the 36 Senate seats not up for election this time around are up for grabs.

In fact, with a lackluster Biden who appears feeble and senile, who stumbles on his words and makes gaffes, with a Harris who best serves her party by keeping her mouth shut, an economy that has no sign of improvement and in fact will likely worsen... I’m not sure how anyone on the Democrat side right now can pretend to be happy. There is a part II coming (36 Senate seats) and what just happened is likely indicative of what that is going to turn into.

“Elections are being stolen. What don’t you understand about that?’
_______________

I work the polls and observe the crowd while doing so. There is a younger generation that is voting now, and they do not think like us. I heard one say how their college required the students to get registered to vote. Made me wonder if the talk about the red wave motivated democrats to come out.

We assumed that everyone would be fed up with inflation etc. Truth is...so many people just don’t get it.

On paper seems good. In practice, no. Vance is America First MAGA. DeSantis is not. He is thoroughly beltway.

I have yet to see RDS take any position on any international issue except the wrong position on the Uke War. He is not a populist by any stretch. The MAGA base would not turn out for him, and even Vance ran well behind Trump in OH.

Agree 100%. Even Republicans in Congress want to spend $$$ and more Rand Paul types are not welcome.

Trump was a Godsend at one point, now is a liability. He is NOT a conservative and he needs to fade away.

I find it hard to believe PA voted for the brain damaged Fetterman.

I offered a $100 contribution to FR as a bet that Oz would win.

I’ll make that contribution now.

POTUS exposed it all.

POTUS demonstrated the American middle class engine for production versus the communist destruction of it.

POTUS exposed the lock between Republican leadership with the Democrat communist Party.

The Steal was the only way.

It exposed the communist Left in 2020, and it exposed the impotent response of the McConnell Party.

2022 exposes BOTH parties communist Coalition facilitating The Steal.

Now we Get The Picture.

POTUS “Earned This”... and dividing his MAGA base is either political naivete, or maliciously Anti-American.

DeSantis will have his day.
The Lion will determine when that is.

Everything you say of Trump you can say of RDS.

1) In case you forgot the years of posting about FL by myself, SpeedyinTexas, Ravi, and others, we were citing the big red FL shift in 2012. DeSantas rode a wave, did not create it.

2) He governed very well, but did not remove vax mandates until after Kemp. Noem never locked down.

3) His only public statements on international stuff is he is pro-Uke war. That will cause 50% of MAGA to stay home.

4) You can correctly criticize how Trump spent money. But the only money I send to candidates goes directly to them. At some point these people have to realize they are on their own when it comes to raising money. Maybe not fair, but reality.

5) Absolutely correct they were all slimed early. However, so was Vance and he won easily. Back to DeSantis: if you think they have slimed Trump, wait til you see what they do to RDS in OH, PA, WI, IN, and so on. You won’t recognize him.

6) A civil war is coming among Rs. I am not going to give up on the one candidate who nationally fulfilled all his promises for the hope that RDS won’t be RINO-ized, as his donations seem to indicate.

Are you at all surprised by the “election” results? Red Wave, my big toe. The exact result I’ve predicted since 1/7/21 when the Uniparty (R) put the shiv in Trump’s and the Constitution’s back. God save us from the DC fascists’ wrath now.

I disagree that Trump is a liability. Of 120 people he endorsed, 115 won their election.

The reality is that every real Republican is considered a liability. If you want the media’s endorsement, do not run one. It is the same crap every election. A Republican is a demon while in office, but a good once out of office. It doesn’t change.

Put the media out of business if you want things to change.

You view makes tremendous sense when stepping back a bit and looking at the big picture, as the saying goes “all politics is local.” I would add to those who are not looking at the BIGGEST picture are the ones who are the most surprised by the results of yesterday.

I’ve been repeating lately one of Einstein’s (or whoever) greatest quotes lately: The definition of insanity: “doing the same thing over again and expecting a different result.” I fault the GOP (GOPe) - they did not earn victory. The days of voting for the lesser of evils has been over for years and is over, those millions who are conservative did not participate.

Most every bad thing we see these days was enabled by the GOPe the past generation, the rats do not win because they are better but we lost because the GOPe is worse. Until the likes of Linda Linseed on down are pushed out things will continue to be the same. We are not winners because the other guy is worse, there are no votes there anymore.

Nope, for example the $31,000,000,000,000 deficit was enabled all the way by the GOPe and will continue to get worse until we collapse as a nation. McConnell who is the worst and most evil RINO in our lifetime will see to that the spending, raising of the debt ceiling and so forth will continue unabated.

If, yesterday, you were an incurable optimist suffering from normalcy bias, I hope today you know this: the post 2020 US (and probably most western elections) are corrupted and manipulated sideshows. Time to refocus on Ukraine which is the Armageddon of revelation. This is the decisive battle upon us NOW: ithe demonic “rules-based order” and the awake minority in the west along with the BRICS nations. One winner, one loser.
