Sununu: Trump needs better advisers if he’s going to announce 2024 bid before Christmas

New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) said on Tuesday that former President Trump needs better advisers if he plans to announce a 2024 bid for president before Christmas.

“Anyone who thinks it’s a smart idea to announce an election, a potential presidential bid, after the election but before Christmas, it’s just the worst time you could possibly do it,” Sununu told reporters after casting his ballot on Tuesday morning.

I guess New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) has a lot of experience announcing his many runs for President.

As soon as we know for sure we won big today, he needs to announce as soon as the polls close.

Trump might announce to get candidate protection from Democrat attacks.

Everything they throw at him is because he is running.

I happen to agree with him. If Republicans win tonight, what’s the rush? Wait till Republicans are seated in the majority, and remove all the crap the rats did. No reason to spend the next two months dealing with a lame duck congress.

If a known RINO is advising you or Trump about anything, especially Trump-Related, DO THE OPPOSITE!

This is good, sane, logical policy!

Trump needs to announce tonight. The sooner the better. Right now there are no indictments against Trump. Once he announces, any indictment that the collective “they” try to put forward will be seen as using the state or federal government to go after a political opponent......if he were to follow Sunnunu’s advice, Trump would only be giving “them” time to generate and execute indictments

I think Trump should announce right after the midterm election so as to make any corrupt DOJ plans to indict him for anything look exactly like the corrupt politically motivated hit job it would be.

I read the article and all he says is that people want to take a break from politics. So, let them, that doesn’t mean that Trump has to wait around. I think this clown is hoping that the Biden regime hurries up and indicts Trump on some bogus charges. He figures the longer Trump waits the easier it will be for the regime to say, this wasn’t political.

You are 100% right. In fact, I was sort of hoping that Trump would have announced last night only because I would not put it past the Dems to gin up an indictment the day after the election. It's the kind of thing they would do if they felt it would take some air out of the GOP victories.

But I understand why he held off, he wanted to keep the spotlight on the candidates and give them a few days to savor their victories.

Also remember that the main reason Jim Comey gave for not recommending indictments against Hillary in 2016 was because she was an announced presidential candidate and he didn't want to be seen as interfering with an election.

Trump has my vote in the primaries (if he’s included) and in the General but this statement...

“Right now there are no indictments against Trump. Once he announces, any indictment”

Now your statement is raising RED FLAGS and tells me that Trump needs better LEGAL advisors if the above statement is coming out of the Trump side.

Innocent or not. That raises red flags for this Trump supporter. What would such a statement do to someone sitting on the fence?

Chris Sununu (RINO)

He's a loser, I wish Tulsi would go up there and spank him.
